Fantastic Location

We have stayed in Matagorda for years, but this house was special. The location is great. Gorgeous sunset views. Decorated nicely and that porch is everything. We had our teenagers with us and the sleeping situation worked well. We will be back!

This house was super close to the beach. It was really clean and beautifully decorated! The deck on top and bottom was great. Had everything you needed. Beautiful view! Would stay here again.

Matagorda Beach

We really enjoyed our stay. Great views watching sunsets, birds, deer, coyotes, and dolphins right off the back porch. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and utinsels for cooking meals. Beds were very comfortable. We'll be back again.

Beautiful home in a great location

I would certainly rent this home again for future trips with friends, however the bunk beds are in the kitchen/living area and may not be suitable for kids with parents that enjoy staying up later.

Beautiful property

Great place that the whole family enjoyed. Plenty of room, very clean and just an awesome place to make memories with the family. I would suggest a picnic table outside, some rod holders on the deck and maybe a little fence to keep neighbor and dog from coming around. Will definitely book again in the future and recommend to anyone planning a trip to Matty! Absolutely loved the house!

After holiday getaway

This house was great! Beds are super comfy, kitchen and living area is large and roomy. Kitchen was fully equipped. The house was clean. I do agree with others, more outdoor seating would be nice. But, overall we had a great stay. We visit Gorda several times a year and will definitely stay at this house again. The location is great!

Nice beach house

It was a relaxing weekend getaway. The sleeping accommodations were ok. I think that the bunk beds are better for kids than adults. I don't think it sleeps more than 10 unless you count sleeping on the couch. Other than that we did enjoy our stay.

Great location on the River

Stayed with family early July for 5 nights. Very comfortable, everything you need is there. Lots of Pros- location, lists of place….house is fairly new and everything works. Great views and great fishing off the dock at night. I highly recommend as a place for family or guys fishing trip. Only cons are the upstairs master bath is shared, and would recommend a table/picnic table downstairs. Great place and will definitely rent again.
