Alexis Ann was a gracious host, and has set up a cozy guest suite. The galley kitchen was suitable for setting up breakfasts and light dinners, and the rooms are all very comfortable. The location is right near a food market and about a 15 minute walk from downtown Mystic (and 30 minutes or so from the train station).

Wonderful property! It was a pleasant 15 minute walk into downtown Mystic making it perfect for those visiting without a car like me. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Outdoor area was very nice as well to enjoy a good book or glass of wine!

Quick getaway

Location is close to downtown. Not a lot of parking in mystic so be prepared to walk . Property is safe and quiet and Alexis was fun and welcoming.

Cute and comfortable

I had a lovely long weekend staying at this little spot super close to Mystic. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and cheery. Alexis was kind and helpful. The location was simultaneously close to so many fun things to explore, either by walking or driving, but just far away enough to be out of the line of traffic, so it was quiet and getting around was easy. I would definitely use this little spot as a "home base" for all that the area has to offer again. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a weekend away

This was the perfect spot for a lovely weekend away. The space was clean, bright, spacious and had old time charm with modern amenities. It is also a five minute drive to downtown with shops, cafes and other fun things to do. The owner was kind, welcoming, helpful and we would absolutely stay there again.

Cute colorful house!

We loved the way the house was decorated and everything we could possible need was provided for us. It is very close to town, so we could’ve walked if it was warmer outside! The host was very kind, helpful, and responsive.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights staying here. Everything was spotlessly clean and extremely quaint. Our host was on the ball and very responsive. We would stay here again if we’re back in the New London/Groton/Mystic area! Thank you!!

The property was well maintained and easy to find. We did not know about the 13 steep stairs we had to take to get to our space. My friend had had shoulder surgery and it was difficult to get up/down with only one handrail. Wish I'd known that before I booked this location. Walking in town was safe and pleasant.

I Love this cute apt. It was clean, bright , cozy. It was close to everything. I enjoyed sitting in the trees sipping my morning coffee and late night wine. Old windows and on a busy road! If you want quite sleep then this will not be the rental for sleeping. Cars all night. Old home and never upgraded with the money they make renting. It was clean.

Our stay at this property was unfortunately not what we expected. The listing stated we would have access to the entire house, but in reality we were limited to the oldest section of the home, which felt more like renting an apartment rather than a full house. The host also lives in the other half of the property—something that was not made clear in the listing—and was present throughout the stay.On our second night, around 3 AM, the host checked on the furnace without notifying us beforehand. Being startled awake by loud noises in the middle of the night was unsettling, and because we had no idea what was happening, I ended up getting very little sleep for the rest of the night.The rooms themselves could use some updating, and it would be much more comfortable and secure if the bedrooms had functioning locks. I actually put a chair in front of the door to feel safer, which shouldn’t be necessary in a rental.The silver lining is that the host was very warm and welcoming in person. However, I strongly recommend that they revise and clarify the listing to avoid confusion for future guests who expect a private full-house stay.
