Downtown Mystic - Newly Renovated Apartment

Newly renovated apartment in an old house built in 1845. The property is right in the center of Mystic on the Groton side of the draw bridge. Walking distance to restaurants and area attractions including Mystic Seaport Museum. Off-street parking. Short drive to Stonington Borough and Watch Hill RI.

Maximum of 2 people allowed. All guests must be at least 27 years of age. No parties allowed on premises. Pets not allowed. No smoking on premises.

About the space:
Unit 2 is located on the ground floor and offers the following layout and amenities:
- One bedroom with queen-size bed
- One bath with shower
- Living room with couch and 50" TV. Streaming and live TV is through Hulu
- Full kitchen including stove, oven, fridge, microwave
- Dishes, utensils, glasses, cookware, bakeware.
- Nespresso machine
- Separate dining area
- In-unit laundry
- WiFi
- Air conditioning via window unit
- Off street parking

Guest access via keyless electronic lock.

- No parties
- Maximum of 2 guests (no exceptions)

The apartment is great, so clean and well stocked for a weekend away and so close to all the action. Mike is a great and communicative host, I would really recommend this spot for a trip to Mystic!

What a lovely place to stay. Centrally located near all the best restaurants and shopping Mystic has to offer. Everything was walkable. The apartment itself provided all the daily amenities anyone could ask for and we are looking forward to staying here again in the near future. The host was so sweet in offering assistance in booking dinner reservations and activities. Looking forward to booking again!

Oh my gosh, where do I begin with how great this place was. First off, it's gorgeous, perfectly located and clean as a pin. The owner is very responsive. But the little touches! Tea and cookies in the kitchen. Nice soaps in the bathroom. Wine glasses. Two quilts. Hulu is included. Excellent time!

Excellent location. Right in the heart of downtown Mystic. Off-street parking is a plus. Apartment is newly renovated, clean, and comfortable for two. Kitchen was well-supplied. Small patio in back was a perfect place to unwind. Mike was the best host. He was available when I called and gave us some excellent ideas for places to visit that were not originally on our radar. We’ll be back.

A Cozy and Convenient Solo Getaway in Mystic

I recently stayed for a week alone at this renovated apartment in downtown Mystic, and it turned out to be just what I needed. I'm in my sixties now, and traveling solo means I look for places that are simple, comfortable, and easy to manage without a lot of fuss. This spot, about 450 square feet with one bedroom and bath, felt right-sized for me—nothing overwhelming, but nicely updated and cozy.Being so close to everything was a real plus. I could walk just a couple of minutes to the marina and a bit farther to the Seaport Museum, which I enjoyed at my own pace. Mystic has that old-time feel I appreciate, with the waterfront for strolls and good spots for seafood nearby. It let me explore without needing a car much, and I liked coming back to a peaceful place after.The basics were all there and mostly worked well: a kitchen for my morning coffee and light meals; a washer and dryer, which were the only disappointment (too "energy efficient," so everything took a long time); air conditioning to stay cool; and a little outdoor spot where I sat reading in the evenings. The bed was comfortable, and I slept soundly.Everything was clean and straightforward when I arrived, no surprises. I'd seen the perfect 10/10 rating online, and it almost lived up to that for me.Communications with the owner were excellent.If you're like me and want a no-frills, well-located place in Mystic for some time to yourself, this one's worth considering.

We loved the apartment so much and most likely will book here again. The bed was gorgeous and comfortable and the sheets and blankets smelled like sunshine. The towels in the bathroom were plentiful and also smelled wonderful. I need to know what you use on your linens. Every space in this place was beautiful and had anything you could want. The kitchen was well stocked with china, drinking vessels, cutlery and everything you’d need to cook a full meal. We didn’t use the built in dishwasher or laundry but if we were there for a longer stay we would have. There is also a full fridge, stove, and convection oven (I think), coffee maker, toaster
etc. there was also an electric kettle which I so appreciated along with assorted tea and sugar, and the most delicious cookies.There was a sweet little dining space, but we loved lounging in the living area in front of the tv for our meals.This place is in walking distance of the town which has many boutiques and restaurants. We loved the handmade pasta at Via Emilia’s and were delighted to have a margarita and fresh Ninigret Oysters at the Tree House which is above the Oyster House Restaurant. Our favorite restaurant is S& P but we didn’t get to go there this time. The Mystic Maritime museum is right down the road and we enjoyed the artifacts and going for an 8 tour of the Mystic River on the Sabino.We give this place 5 plus stars. We were very comfy and Mike was just a text away. You will not be disappointed.

Thanksgiving in Mystic

This was our 2nd time staying at this wonderful apartment for Thanksgiving weekend. I can't say enough good things about it. The location is perfect, within walking distance of almost everything. The apartment itself is very clean, well-appointed and so comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked with plates, utensils and cookware. In the bathroom you'll find soap shampoo/conditioner and even Q-tips. You can literally just show up with your clothes. Finally, the host, Mike is fantastic. Don't hesitate to book this gem.

Hi, I'm Mike. I grew up just over the line in Rhode Island and I have deep connections to the area. As a young adult I moved south, which was fine for a while but sometimes you have to leave home to appreciate the specialness of where you came from.

Time slows down here along the coast. If you allow yourself to become part of it, you too will return again.

I feel truly lucky to own a home in such a beautiful spot right in Mystic! Although the house was built in 1845, most of the original elements were gone when I bought the house a few years ago. The property has been a multi-family home for many decades. It has been fun remodeling and giving each of the units a unique look. Hopefully you will come back and have a stay in all of them!
