Summary:
Bring the whole family to this spacious and pet-friendly home near Big Powderhorn Ski Resort and the Black River Waterfalls! Enjoy the indoor hot tub (only available in winter) and gas fireplace after a long day on the slopes, or put your feet up by the fire pit on a warm summer night! Situated on 3.5 private acres, there is plenty of parking for trucks, or trailers and take a hike around the property on the cleared trails. No matter the season, Serenity POW! has everything you're looking for!
The Space:
3.5 beautiful wooded acres sit ready for your enjoyment! Minutes from Big Powderhorn Mountain and a short drive to Copper Peak, Lake Superior, the Iron Belle Snowmobile and ATV Trail System, this large 5 bedroom house has room for all your family, friends, and toys.
5 bedrooms, with 8 beds, sleep 12 people. An additional two futons and an air mattress are available. And of course, pets are part of the family and are welcomed with a small pet fee, with dog bowls, toys, dog beds, and a fenced back yard for your canine family members.
The upstairs features an open concept combined living room, dining room, and kitchen, with vaulted 18' ceilings. Sit in the indoor hot tub (only available in winter) and watch the gas fireplace or stream your favorite shows, games, or movies on the 65" 4k TV. Sit on the sectional couch, or play board games, Euchre, or another card game at the dining room table that extends to sit 10 comfortably.
Or watch the birds and deer by looking out the full height windows and French doors that overlook the fenced backyard and patio. Step outside into the backyard to use the outdoor seating, a fire pit or propane BBQ grill.
The kitchen has a gas stove/oven with 4 burners, microwave, and dishwasher just around the corner. There's also a dryer next to the dishwasher for those days you take one too many spills skiing at Big Powderhorn or walking the trails to the waterfalls and Lake Superior. No more soggy socks, pants, or gloves; either dry them out by the gas fireplace, or toss a quick load in the dryer and be ready to go the next day.
Two bedrooms are on the main level. The main bedroom boasts a king bed, full bed and futon couch. This room opens onto a three-season room overlooking the backyard patio. The second bedroom offers a full bed. A full bathroom includes a standing shower and is located off the kitchen between the two bedrooms.
Downstairs has a living room area with another futon, surrounding by wood tongue and groove panels, just like the rest of the house, that makes you feel like you're in the middle of the North Woods even when inside. Three bedrooms in the basement sleep another 8: with the first featuring double bed, the second room with a bunk bed and another single bed, and the third room with a double and single bed. The basement bedrooms are non-comforming. A gate can be closed to keep the little ones or furry friends from going down the stairs, or it can be left open.
There is plenty of parking out front for all your vehicles and trailers with toys. Walk the property on the hiking, cross country, and biking trails, weaving through the birch, pine, and apple trees that are often the sleeping or snack spot for the local deer and bird populations.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole home, except for 2 locked storage closets.
The large pole building, small backyard shed and outdoor sauna are not currently available for guest use.

Serenity POW is a member of the Superior Getaways family and all reservations come with a damage protection plan. Enjoy your stay with peace of mind, without having to pay high security deposits!
We are happy to be a dog-friendly home, but all pets, including service animals, must be disclosed at booking or brought to our attention before check in. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $350 fee. If unauthorized pets are brought to our attention during a guests stay it will result in a $350 fee as well as termination of the remainder of the stay. Please let us know before you visit if you intend on bringing a pet. We do not allow cats.
Interaction with Guests:
Serenity POW! is managed by Longhini Property Management and is a part of the Superior Getaways family. LPM is on call 24-hours during reservations and normal business hours before and after stays. LPM's contact information is located inside the home.
