Great family vacation home!

We’ve stayed in a handful of homes in Galveston and this home is by far the best. It has all the things a family could want. Big plus, everything works!

Great vacation & beach house

Since it was right on the beach, it was so easy for all to enjoy at our leisure. It was well equipped with everything needed for a large family. Would very much recommend for your next vacation.

Excellent location, and the house was very nice. Having direct access to the beach was perfect for us with our young kids. Only recommendation would be to have an option for a later check-out time.

Location is wonderful

Would most definitely stay here again! Buffalo Dunes was a great choice for our family vacation. The layout of the home was perfect for our family of 12 to have plenty of room and not feel like we were on top of each other. The location on the beach is wonderful as well. We were able to spend the day at the beach and then back out at night for crab hunting, which the kids loved! Wonderful experience overall!!

Upon arrival, front door was left open by housekeeping?? And smoke alarm was going off. Was concerned AC wasn’t gonna be able to cool off house but it did! Not sure why alarm was going off?? Trash cans were packed Our wonderful family made some beautiful memories in this lovely house. Just wish the communication with host was better… A rake was provided for our stay because there was a lot of seaweed.

Memorial Day Beach Fun

Our 2 girls and 4 grandchildren had a great trip. We had an issue with the toilet and the property manager was very quick to respond. This was a perfect house for our family.

Great Family House!

Our stay was great! The house was clean with a stocked kitchen and bathroom linens. There were also a few beach toys such as boogie boards, tubes, and sand toys. AC was great and we were always nice and cool inside. The views are wonderful from the living rooms and decks. The queen bedroom by the kitchen could use a new bed. The boards underneath were not stable. Also, there were no TVs in either of the rooms with the beach view. Overall, our stay was great and accommodating!

All you need

Love the convenience of the beach. Could communicate with family on beach from house. Public beach with road access was nice to prep our beach spot with no heavy liffting and carrying. House was perfect in every way. Could fit 3 couples and kids room with just the right amount of privacy and community. Lived the spacious living/dining/kitchen. Will plan on bookibg again. No desire to leave the beach for the pool.

Problems with beachside corrosion need to be addressed. The exterior door of one bedroom which was stated as having deck access could not be opened due to corrosion. I finally got the other bedroom door to the deck to open. The lockbox which holds the entry key is in poor shape and is difficult to operate. The sliding glass door which is the main entry and exit could only be locked when leaving the house after much work figuring the locks eccentricity. Lock needs replacing. The icemaker was not working. You need to know all your codes for accessing any television.The information book in the house indicated there were two keys in the lockbox, one of which opened a storage room with beach chairs, floaties, etc. Only one key and no beach accessories.
