Lac Wildwood est une communauté privée fermée dans la Sierra Foothills. Situé dans la ville de Penn Valley (près de l'autoroute 20), il est une communauté boisée magnifique niché autour d'un lac privé de 300 acres.

A 15 minutes de la ville pittoresque de Grass Valley (autoroute 49) et seulement 1 heure à Lake Tahoe et à 2 heures de l'East Bay et San Francisco font de cet endroit une grande escapade.

Lac Wildwood se trouve au-dessus du brouillard et sous la neige. Altitude est de 2500 pieds, ce qui permet pour l'année complète lac plaisir. Il y a des zones 5 de plage et des parcs pour pique-niquer ou pour jouer au tennis, volley-ball, basket-ball ou de palets. Il y a aussi un 18 trous frisbee golf au sein de 1. 5 miles.

Cet établissement dispose d'une plate-forme ouverte avec patio salle pour voir les magnifiques couchers de soleil. La cour arrière vous emmène sur une pelouse verte à l'embarcadère où vous pouvez nager, pêcher, et regarder les vues sereines du lac.

Cette maison est idéale pour les réunions de famille et très kid-friendly. Pas besoin d'emballer vos fournitures bébé / plage. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est ici, y compris deux kayaks, des salons gonflables / chambres à air, des gilets de sauvetage, échelle ball, fléchettes de pelouse, volley-ball / jeu de badminton, jeu tetherball, cannes à pêche et attaquer, disques frisbee golf, fers à cheval, des tables adultes et les enfants de pique-nique, un portable lit, chaise haute, table à la taille des enfants avec des chaises, moniteur pour bébé, poussette, serviettes de plage et des jouets de plage. Nous avons aussi une table de baby-foot à l'intérieur.

The Lake view was awesome! Very nice backyard space for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. We were able to watch an incredible thunder and lightning storm as it moved across the lake. Enjoyed exploring nearby Nevada City. I would definitely return to this very comfortable home!

What a great place!! We had a wonderful time. The host was very responsive for some minor issues that we had. The place was exactly like the pictures. The view is incredible. You can tell they care about their guests. From the multi outlet plugs next to the beds to the life jackets in the garage. A few people in our group already are planning on bringing their other friends here. We will definitely be back.

Excellent vacation house

Highly recommend this vacation house. We are 3 couples with 3 kids, and had a great time there. The lake view is so beautiful. We are planning to come back in summer time.

2023 Girl's Trip

This is our second time at this property, it is amazing! The property is perfect for our group (5-6), plenty of sleeping space and full bathrooms. The outdoor deck area along the lake is perfect for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine or welcoming the morning with a cup of coffee. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Spot!

My family had the opportunity to stay at this lovely house on the water at Lake Wildwood for a few days. Everything was as advertised and the rental went smoothly. I had a couple of conversations with the owner, he was easy to reach and very accommodating. Would love to stay there again!

Stay at the Lake

House was great you have everything you need. Rained most of our stay, but the lake view was worth it. Steve will go above and beyond to make sure his guest is taken care of. I will stay here again in the future.

Wonderful rental to spend some fun time by the lake

Love how well stock the property is, although the garage could use some organization of all the items. The property is very clean, well kept, perfect location, very comfortable beds. Shower jets in master is amazing, whole house is very pleasant and lots to do to have fun.

Relaxing writing retreat with friends

Peaceful Property

The property is beautiful and the house was perfect for our family stay. The house is spacious and well equipped, the grounds are well kept and the view is spectacular. We loved gazing out at the lake. There are plenty of things to do. The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier and kayaking in the lake. The Foosball table saw plenty of action as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Very nice location for family summer vacation

This is a great location for outdoor activities. Unfortunately it rained and hailed and even snowed a bit the week we were there so we were mostly indoors. Not much to do in the area in bad weather. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to a couple hiccups at the property. We’d definitely book again in warmer months.

Awesome property!

This is a beautifully well kept property. I wish we would have been here during the summer to enjoy the lake amenities. We did get to enjoy the views and the fire place. It was an amazing way to recharge our batteries. Thank you Steve and Sachie.

4th year in a row, in love with this place

Hoping to come back to this little slice of paradise every summer as long as they'll let us! Conveniently near our favorite Yuba River spot & so delightful to come back for dinner watching the sunset over the lake, followed by peaceful kayaking at dusk. Then stargazing at night! House is super comfy & spacious. Hosts are kind & communicative. Also: fawns frolicking on the lawn!

The house was very clean, warm and welcoming. Even better in person. The Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. The master bathroom shower was beautiful 10/10. The location and views can't be beat. We enjoyed our time seating next to the lake talking and laughing. We would book again!!!

Sachie, the brains behind the operation, is a Nurse Practitioner. Her career requires a kind heart which spills over to her devotion in providing great customer satisfaction for those who desire to rent our home. Steve, the husband who stays out of the brain's way, is an electrical engineer, and therefore the guy that Sachie has you call when you may be having an issue with a device that uses electricity. His and their two daughter's primary responsibility is to test all of the fun activities that Sachie has provided for the home and make sure that they are smile approved.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We work in the hustle and bustle of the San Francisco Bay Area. We wanted to find a place to get away and relax and bond/create memories with our children. There are very limited lake experiences available that are a reasonable driving distance from San Francisco Bay Area. This wooded area in the Sierra foothills gives a more serene feel versus other lake communities like Copperopolis. The size/altitude of the lake provides for more enjoyment than other lake communities like Lake of the Pines. At only 2.5 hours, the drive from San Francisco Bay Area is more convenient than other choices like Lake Tahoe and Lake Almanor. Lake Wildwood was clearly the best choice for lake usability, serenity, and travel time considerations. We spent two years looking at different homes for sale in Lake Wildwood alone. We originally had no interest in Lake Front, and wanted to keep to a lower cost home, however, when we sat in the backyard of this home, we were mesmerized by just how relaxing the view was. It is hard to explain the fulfillment and enjoyment you get with this view. The kind of enjoyment that we thought would for sure keep us excited about coming up many times of the year and for many years to come.

This property provides the largest lake view of any lot in Lake Wildwood. This property is West facing and allows for great sunset viewing from the deck or even while relaxing indoors in the kitchen/great room/master bedroom. The house is single story and abuts to the lakes edge, providing very flat and easy access to the water. We believe this lot is one of the premier locations in all of Lake Wildwood. With a West facing lot, the lake just seems more alive with sparkles from noon hour until Sunset. This home is also situated on a quiet loop with extremely low traffic. There is a greenbelt of large rock outcroppings across the street that will provide kids with additional unique activities. Please view this home's location compared to other Lake Wildwood rentals to understand why you will have a better visual experience, more enjoyment, and more quietness/peacefullness with this vacation spot.
