Tried to cancel due to loud noises with bars & pubs

I was warned by several who live in RVA that the location is loud and noisy. I tried to get out of the contract, as both of us have sleeping disorders and other health risks. The manager was dismissive, and not one bit compassionate or caring about the reason we wanted to cancel. Communication was poor and minimal. I asked for a full or a part refund as we consider this a huge health risk. All the reviews are positive online, but locals say it's too noisy and warned me about the area. I will never use vrbo again because of this. We had to pay the whole amount plus payment for another place. Very disappointing and expensive. The vrbo company even called the manager but there was no change.

Spacious 2 bedroom in historic district

Cool space with very high ceilings, one free parking spot in nearby garage, made a comfortable base for exploring Richmond

Great Location!

Wonderful apartment in a great location! The free parking was very helpful. Apartment is very cozy and just what we were looking for. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

Wow!

We loved everything about Scott's place 
 and he’s great to work with. From the decor, to the layout, to how it was equipped -- it was all perfect and as advertised. And it was less than a 1/3 of a mile from the Virginia Capital Trail - Richmond trailhead. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Excellent Richmond Property and Location

Great stay in a perfect location in Richmond! Close to bars and restaurants and the canal & river walk area. It was nice to have a two bedroom condo that we could spread out in. It was well equipped and is highly recommended!

Great place to stay!

This is a very clean and comfortable place with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Working with Scott was very easy and he was always prompt in his replies and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here for vacation or a conference/meeting in Richmond, as we did!

Weekend to attend wedding

Perfect for us and our son. Close to the Omni hotel where the wedding party was staying. Free parking pass. Great area. Great restaurants within walking distance. Try the Breakfast Burger at Chef's Kitchen in the Berkley Hotel. Not a burger but 2 open faced egg sandwiches with fixings and really good seasoned fries.

Convention goers

Two of us stayed in this sweet little apartment while attending a conference at the Richmond convention center. The property was perfect. Great location in a cute neighborhood with a few good restaurants right nearby. The owner was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend.

We loved this property! Beautiful building, easy free parking with rental across the street in a garage. Gorgeous home with the friendliest hosts! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Excellent location near dining and the canal walk

We had a great stay at Scott's property. It was comfortable and had all the basics you could want. It was steps from shopping, dining, and the canal walk. We appreciated that parking for one car was included. Would recommend.

Excellent property in great location

Excellent property, walking distance to excellent restaurants, bars, and sightseeing. Very comfortable apartment, clean, spacious, with all the comforts you could need. Host is very nice and immediately provided all the info. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to tour Shockoe slip!

Apartment was very clean and had all the amenities, dishwasher, washer, dryer, full stove. I loved the vibe with high ceilings and windows.
