This vacation spot is perfect for lake enthusiasts who are looking to have fun on the lake and relax at home. The smoker and Griddle are perfect for creating amazing memories on top or bottom 500 sq foot deck and patio below. Guests love the golf cart for ease of around the neighborhood, to Mitchell's Marina or simply to the dock, beach, or pool. (Only 1 minute walk) Golf cart can be rented for additional daily fee.

Beautiful home & just like the pictures. We used the community pool and beach area-kid friendly! Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to SML.

Perfect Vacation Spot!

This vacation house totally exceeded our expectations! Wonderful quiet spot with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be booking again next year. If I could give this home and the host a ten star review I would! The ONLY thing I wished for would have been dressers (hate living out of suitcases).

Perfect for a busy 4 days!

The property was perfectly situated with a view and close to the marina and beach. We spent 4 days exploring the lake, enjoying the beach and just vegging at the house. The bedrooms were great for the 6 of us and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and convenient. We loved the house and talked about next time:)

Beautiful home

Had some issues with electronic locks on chiefs in but owner worked hard for a solution and we did gain access. The home was beautiful, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, kitchenware & pots & pans. Beds were so comfortable and the outdoor space was so inviting. A must stay

Love the location

This was our first visit to SML and it did not disappoint. Perfect location near beach, pool and dock. Great supply of outdoor seating and the deck awning kept us outside even when the sun was hot. Inside was beautifully done with comfortable beds and seating. Communication with owner was quick and easy and neighborhood was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back.

A short getaway

We really enjoyed our trip to the lake house. We just wanted to get away for a few days and relax and not have a lot of activities and this was a great place to do it. The house was really nice and equipped with everything we needed. The weather was pretty cool and it rained all day one day so we didn’t use the golf cart but we would have liked to.

Amazing home with lots of room

Wonderful floor plan, nice ramp on the back side of home to make entry easy for those with bad knees (me, lol), a HUGE washer and dryer, a well stocked kitchen with lots of cutlery (including a nice set of knives) super comfortable beds, including the pullout sofa bed, nice showers with a seat in the Master Bath. The community beach was steps away, the golf cart rental was well worth the money too. All in all a wonderful stay that we will hopefully be able to do again.

Stocked!!

OMG this place, we are leaving and ready to book again!! Everything you need is here! We came for Thanksgiving and literally only had to bring the food, pots, pans, seasonings, plates literally we didn’t have to buy anything. The deck and view were great parking easy, nature amazing. Thanks to the host for a wonderful place and great time!! See ya this summer for sure!!!

Close to the Lake

We loved how close to the lake we were- literally just steps away. We were there during a quiet time and were almost always the only ones at the little beachy area. The house was well equipped with just about anything you would need. Keep in mind the nearest grocery store is 20+ min away- so stock up when you get a chance.

Amazing stay on Smith Mountain Lake!

The proprety was so clean and the decor and modeling of the house made for a great ambience. The deck outside had a nice view of the water despite not sitting right on the shoreline. There was a boat slip available for the house which was extremely convenient for our friend's boat. Loved the dog gates on the deck to block both entry paths. Made it a nice experience to have our puppy hang out withour worrying about him running off. We would definitely stay here again!

For anyone reading this review, you should know that I am super picky and this was a very good experience for my family. Very clean and enjoyable for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway --- with Mitchell's Point Marina super close providing food and entertainment (Veteran Owned and Operated). I will offer a few attention-to-detail suggestions privately, but overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend this Vrbo --- and it's welcoming community! We had several good conversations with the local residents :O)...

Relaxation all the way

I stayed here for a week with my husband and children. Being back in a cove with access to a beach area/swimming hole was amazing. We didn't even use the pool because we had that swimming hole. We could relax on the upper or bottom outdoor areas and see our kids swimming. The house had all the amenities we needed. The Blackstone was another plus. We made dinners and breakfast on it. The owner was easy and quick to communicate with. We have no complaints. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Lovely home in lively community

We visited for our annual cousins trip- just 2 gals. The home was wonderful, had everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The gates on the deck were great since we brought my dog. The community is very lively and has lots of families. We used the shared dock and beach. Thankfully we brought all of our groceries since the supermarket is about 20-25 minutes away. We walked over to Mitchell’s marina for an ice cream, which was great. This is the perfect house for someone who wants to be in an active community!

Our property is located on the southern side of the lake, the water is clear and the views of the mountain are beautiful from the lake. This property is conveniently located two minutes from Mitchell's Marina. Enjoy golf at the public course at Mariner's Landing.

Mitchells Marina has a lot to offer. A restaurant, live music on Friday nights, rent a boat or
watersport equipment, ice cream and fireworks on the 4th of July!
Mariner landing is a short drive where you can play golf on their public course. Our community has a dock, beach, pool and firepit for sunsets and smores!
