ÉTÉ AU LAC, Calme Cove, Vues magnifiques sur l'eau, Très bien situé

Cette maison au bord du lac est très bien située près de Bridgewater Plaza et du centre-ville de Moneta pour les restaurants et les magasins. En outre, Bridgewater Plaza comprend la location de bateaux, putt-putt, pizza, crème glacée, musique live le week-end, etc.

Cette maison est entièrement rénovée (terminée au printemps 2015) à l'intérieur avec de nouvelles salles de bain et du bois franc à l'étage. Trois portes coulissantes en verre s'ouvrent sur la toute nouvelle terrasse. Il dispose également de 4 téléviseurs HD, du satellite, du linge de maison et d'une connexion Wi-Fi limitée pour surfer et consulter ses e-mails.

Premier étage: cuisine, équipée de vaisselle et casseroles / poêles pour la cuisine de base, a lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, cuisinière à toit plat et nouveau réfrigérateur. La salle à manger et la salle familiale voûtée ont chacune des portes coulissantes en verre donnant sur la terrasse et le lac. La chambre familiale comprend une télévision HD. A l'étage également, une salle de bain avec douche et double vasque. La chambre avant qui surplombe le lac a un lit Queen, des placards doubles, une TVHD et une porte coulissante en verre qui s'ouvre sur le pont. L'autre chambre à l'étage comprend 1 lit double et 1 lit simple.

En bas: buanderie. Le bain de niveau inférieur est une salle de bain complète avec baignoire / douche. La chambre a une vue sur le lac, lit Queen, TVHD et placards doubles. Den a des canapés confortables avec HDTV et des portes qui s'ouvrent sur le lac. Salle de jeux avec table de Air Hockey et table de baby-foot.

L'allée est pavée et le stationnement près de la porte de la maison et de la cuisine. Le chemin vers le lac est également pavé mais pour la marche ou une voiturette de golf. Il y a une grande cour près de la route pour garer les remorques de bateau - assurez-vous que vous pouvez sauvegarder les remorques dans ou hors de cet emplacement de stationnement. Le pont a une table et des chaises. Il y a aussi un canoë pour votre usage. Le terrain a des arbres pour l'ombre tout au long de la journée. L'avant de la maison a un gril pour cuisiner.

House was clean, very organized and had everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable. Game room, board games, floats water toys and kayaks were provided. Great dock with easy slope from house; great location. We would definitely rent again.

My favorite stay yet!

We have been going to SML for the past 5 years for our vacation, and this has been our favorite property yet. It is close to the water and has a phenomenal dock. The owners were quick to respond if we had any questions. The cove is deep and calm. We will absolutely be back!

The property is lovely, especially the large dock! The weather wasn't great this year, so we spent a lot of time in the living room lounging around and watching TV or sitting around the kitchen table eating and talking. Both locations worked well.

Wonderful place

This is our third year and, though the weather was not cooperative, we loved being there. The dock provided shelter, even during downpours, and the house is so inviting that the weather didn't matter- a great vacation for all of us. Looking forward to returning next year.

Great week at Smith Mountain Lake

We had a great week at Smith Mountain lake. The heat broke for the week so it was perfect for sitting out, grilling, etc with OCCASIONAL dips in the lake. The house was great, the dock was great - especially the new stairs from the fixed to floating dock, th location was great!

Sherri and Dale’s place is truly comfortable with easy access to the lake with a dock to tie up boat

We love staying here because of its location on the lake. It is close to Bridgewater Marina and grocery stores. The area is a peaceful wooded area. Plenty of room for 6 of our family. The kitchen was functional to make meals in. I would highly recommend this place with reasonable rates. This is our second time renting the place. We hope to come back again.

Amazing

This was our third summer staying at this property. Just like the other years, we loved the house, dock, and location! The host made everything easy and had good communication. The house had all of the amenities needed. The dock was perfect for our boat rental and had a nice cove to swim in. It’s a short boat ride or car drive to the state park beach as well. We had a fabulous family vacation and can’t wait until next time!

We had a wonderful time, as usual at the lake. I missed having a master bath. Additionally, we needed more dinner plates and forks and knives. We had to turn on the dishwasher after every meal. The renovations were very nice and there were adequate TVs for the 7 of us.

Thank you for your suggestions. Just to clarify, the house is listed as three bedrooms and two baths. It does not claim to have a master bath. While the bathroom is not connected to the master, it is directly beside it. Our listing also states there are basic cooking supplies. It has adequate plates and utensils for the number of guests the house accommodates. Thanks.

You'll never leave the dock

Another fantastic week at the lake. The house and the location are amazing. The new dock pushes the experience into another dimension. We spent most of the day on the new dock- fishing, swimming, eating, napping. Despite a few days of 90 plus degree weather, the dock was comfortable and inviting. As my father said, there's nothing he would change - it's perfect.

Beautiful clean home on a beautiful lake!

The house and property did not disappoint. It was better than the description and pics. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great deck shaded with just enough sun, wonderful dock and a quiet neighborhood. Even had some basic supplies, either left by previous renters or the hosts, that could come in handy. Smith Mt. Lake was amazing and this house provided an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We have spent most previous vacation time at OBX, NC. Now we have a new contender for a favorite place to go and relax.

Perfect End of Summer Trip

This is our 5th or 6th stay at SML, always renting a home, a boat, jet skis and and always on this side of the lake. In typical fashion spent 5 days on the water with our kids (21- 26) and several friends cycling thru from C'ville and NOVA. Perfect location for skiing/wakeboarding/tubing, easy to Bridewater or Crystal marinas and a nice dock for all the toys. Home obviously just remodeled and in pristine condition, top to bottom. Nice floor plan and perfect for our crew pre and post skiing. Gentle slope to water, very manageable for all (21-55) with a thoughtful flat grassy area lakeside at the bottom for sunning, sitting, viewing - very unusual for lakefront property. Only want is a fire pit, but obviously early in these owners hands and everything done so far is spot-on. Hats off to Sheri and Dale, very accommodating hosts, great communications pre and during and a very nice home. Well done.

Amazing vacation

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Pictures do not do it justice. Sheri and Dale have thought of everything you would need inside the home. Outside is a huge paradise! The view is breathtaking and the new dock is THE BEST! We fished, swam, kayaked, paddle boarded, ate dinner, read books, and enjoyed ice cream from the Ice Cream boat. We are already talking about going back.

Family Fun at the Lake

This was our second visit to this property and likely won't be our last. Sheri was very responsive and super helpful if we had any questions, but of course didn't need much because they have the house well labeled and appointed. We had a blast with the canoe and kayaks provided and rented a couple paddle boards to round out the non-motor fleet that the kids can easily manage on their own. The new dock is outstanding and was our favorite place to be! Highly recommend the property on its own accord and the location can't be beat!

Great lake front property

We enjoyed a great time at this lake front home. It met all of our needs. The large deck was great for sitting/reading/ and enjoying the lake view. The dock was convenient for parking our rented jet ski while eating lunch. The game room kept the kids occupied in the evenings. We also enjoyed the use of the canoe and life jackets to paddle around the cove. Very comfortable accomodations.

Smith Mountain Lake Beauty

Outstanding in every way. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, well stocked and ready for a visit. One of the best we have ever stayed at! Great accommodations and easy use for my parents (aged 92 & 90) . Hope to visit again next year.

Exactly what you need for a family vacation!

Great property that is big enough for the family and well equipped. Great location makes it nice to swim without worrying about boats coming through. Plenty of water toys, ski tube, water skis, paddle board, noodles, life jackets and various other toys. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again!! We also rented a boat from Bridgewater marina. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Smith Mt Lake House Aug '21

Information from the owner was timely, accurate, and informative. House was just "as advertised" - clean, well appointed (kitchen had everything; water sports equipment was easily accessible); dock was well constructed (felt very safe with the kids), and the grounds around the house were well maintained. Owner left excellent instructions for check in and check out, as well as helpful signs for everything from using the washer/dryer to carefully labeled light switches. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and good value.

The house has a great layout with many areas to enjoy -- two family rooms one upstairs and one downstairs. A large deck outside with many sitting areas to enjoy the lake - part in the sun and a covered area for shade. The lot has a gentle slope to the lake and beautiful views. The driveway is paved and the walking path to the lake is also paved.

Every room in this house has been updated. New hardwood flooring in the entire upstairs. The upstairs family room has big windows that let in lots of sunlight. It has a large deck that overlooks the water. It has a nice dock in a deep cove that is great for swimming and fishing. There is a 24' floating dock with cleats to tie up a boat or lounging in the sun. In addition, there is another 500+ sq ft of dock under the roof with ceiling fans, chairs and tables for time in the shade.
