About this space
Comfy, spacious, unique split level home. Bamboo floors/high beam. Views overlooking dwntown & canyons. People walk in say "Wow!" 3 Bdr/2 ba. Bdr #1 and 2: Calif. Kings; Middle Bdr: Two XL Twins (convert to CaliKing). + Extra daybed and double blowup. Fountain in entry. LARGE TV. Circular drvway fits 3 RVs. 3.5 mi. to dwntwn. 25 mi. to ski. 10 min. to airport. 2 hrs from Sac. 3.5 hrs from S.F. ; Home located on Steamboat Ditch Trail - 40 mi. of flat biking/walking trail along creek.

Mid-Century modern architecture. Most of the house is a Great Room so it is great for gatherings.

Everything was great! Such a charming place and everything was labeled clearly with lots of instructions. Beds were very comfortable and great view! We hope to be back again soon to visit friends again.

Very cool house, rat pack vibe. Was clean and comfortable and very well outfitted inside and out. Kaati was very communicative and made sure to check on our satisfaction while we were there. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet home base during their stay in Reno.

This home is very nice. Clean. All things you need for cooking outside and inside. Plan on a long wait for hot water in the kitchen. The toilet seat in the spare bathroom is cracked but I’m sure it will be fixed. The umbrella outside is very old and hard to put up we gave up. Beds are comfy and linens and towels are all tip top. If you are a large person the spare shower has a narrow entrance so suck it in. Plan your stay and it’s a nice home.

Incredible views!

Loved the openness of the living room for family to be together. Hostess responded very quickly to any questions I had and very accommodating for my small children. The rope swing in the backyard was my son’s favorite feature lol!

Retro house in Reno

Loved this location and the views! Drank our coffee every morning in the backyard overlooking the valley, and spent our evenings around the fire. The house had everything we needed and loved its charm! Just a short drive to Genoa and Virginia City. We also enjoyed the great food and brew houses in Reno.

The perfect place

We came out to Reno for a wedding. We also wanted to relax and meet up with family. From the comfortable beds, the beautifully sunrises, the view of downtown town and the large living area, we would stay here again. We especially liked the back yard and spent an abundance of our time outside.

What a view!!

Very unique mid century house. Perfect for entertaining. The backyard was where we spent most of our time. Breakfast on the patio, lunch on the patio, dinner on the patio. Smores on the patio using the firetable. Couldn't get enough of the view and the sounds of the peacocks echoing through the canyon.

Great Place to Stay in Reno

The house was just as pictured/advertised. The location was central and easy for us. I loved getting up, making coffee and sitting with the view in the morning. Kaati made us feel welcome. It was a great place to serve as our home base and resting location for the annual Volleyball tournament.

Ski trip

Very spacious and lovely rental. Great views of downtown Reno from the great room. We enjoyed 4 days here for a ski trip with our family of 6. Very comfortable evenings spent lounging in the main room and with the giant TV. We appreciated the great communication with Kaati.

97th Birthday Celebration

Qual Run House was a perfect location for 13 people to celebrate and honor our 97 year old Reiko xoxo. Five of us stayed at the house while others joined us one evening for the celebration. The open floor plan and comfortable furniture were perfect!!! The scenic views of Reno were an additional bonus. This home is centrally located to downtown, the Truckee River, and Rancho San Rafael Park. Thank you Kaati!! You made our stay extremely hassle free. We are so appreciative that Qual Run allows events. We Love this home and I hope we will be celebrating a 98th birthday here next year!!!!!!

Great stay at a great spot

My wife and I joined our 3 adult kids for a few days stay here in Reno. We've stayed at a dozen or so VRBO's and this was if not the best, very close to the best. Clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and interesting with a great view. Kaati could not have been better to work with. We had some logistical situations arise and she was very flexible and accommodating. Overall a very positive experience.

Quail Ridge is such a cool house. It has the big Wow factor with great views. Plus it is right on Steamboat Ditch Trail. Excellent for walking or riding your bike. I love it and I hope you do too!
