Our family had such a relaxing time at the lake. It was so quiet and peaceful at the house. My kids loved the extra bunk house. There was a lot to do in the area but also wonderful to come back and just relax. It was awesome to have use of water equipment. We enjoyed our meals outside on the deck. The kitchen was well-stocked and good for making easy meals.

We rented this cabin in late July. The lake was beautiful. Kids loved to swim to the raft. We spent a ton of time on the large dock. Plenty of room for our family of four. Had fun fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. The cabin was the perfect up north get away. Beds were comfy, air conditioner worked great. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay! Thanks Kent!!

Beautiful view of lake from back deck. Boat launch within walking distance. Cabin has everything including washer/dryer. 6 waterfalls in area which are all just Mother Nature at its finest. Fishing from there pier is one of the best fishing spots on the lake. BIG small mouth bass, 20”. Deer everywhere! Local chipmunk is all ways hungry. We highly recommend for families and retirees.Jim and Kim from Wausau Wi.

Northern Wisconsin Splendor

I booked the cottage/cabin on beautiful Lake Ellwood as I spent many years as a child and adult in this area. All of the weekend brought back fond memories. Lake Ellwood is beautiful, the eagles soared and the deer are plentiful. Kayaking and swimming along with the time spent with friends made this a lovely weekend in a cabin surrounded by tall pines overlooking the lake. Kevin and his wife are wonderful. We hope to return.

Lovely Week at the Lake

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week on Lake Ellwood. The lake was clear and having access to kayaks, a paddle board, noodles, etc made for big fun in the water. The cabin and bunkhouse provided plenty of room for our family of four adults. Even without air conditioning, the cabin cooled nicely with ceiling fans and tower fans. Strong wi fi and cell coverage made it easy for remote work. The neighboring towns were fun to explore on rainy days. Don’t hesitate to book this cabin.

We really enjoyed our week at Lake Ellwood! Kent's cabin was wonderful for our family of 4 and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. It was fantastic having to just bring ourselves and to not have to worry about bedding and towels, as all of it is provided; just bring yourselves and whatever clothes you need - the rest is here! We especially loved having access to the paddleboard, canoe, and all the tubes - we all had a great time. Kent and Kevin answered any questions we had and were excellent hosts. Lake Ellwood is a total gem (probably one of the cleanest lakes we've ever stayed on) and this cabin - the perfect place to get away in the Northwoods! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Small but everything we needed

This place was on the small side but we had 5 adults and it was not an issue. The place has that Northwoods Cabin feel and it was up to date. The bathroom was sizable with washer and dryer in it. We were able to cook and eat with no problem although the kitchen is not gourmet friendly with cooking supplies. There are a few steps down to the water but they are well designed and were not a problem for 65 yr old like me. The gem of the cabin is the fire pit area and we spent much of our time sitting around the fire.We would not hesitate to book this place again.
