We loved this VRBO! If we ever go back we would try to stay here again. Very cute and homey, AC worked great. Loved how close it was the boardwalk, and the view from the living room was amazing!

Beautiful Updated Property

We had a great time at the property, Enid was our concierge and kept in touch as needed, she was very friendly, helpful, and hospitable; we throughly enjoyed visiting with her. We were escorted from the airport to the condo, at arrival it was very clean and bright. Great central location. We cooked a few meals during our 8 day stay, it had kitchen basics, everything we needed. It was recently remodeled, bathrooms & bedrooms were great. Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Wish we didn’t have to come home!

We had a fantastic stay at this Condo! I expressed to the Serenity group we were going to the USVI to celebrate my wife’s birthday and to our surprise as we walked into the condo, there was a beautiful gift with a heartwarming message on a card waiting for her. This was the beginning of a happy birthday for my wife. It truly felt like home away from home. The location was perfect, and the view was amazing. Walking distance from downtown Christiansted, and close to the Ferry over to St. Thomas if desired. The host was wonderful, providing quick communication and helpful local tips. The Condo was very clean, and comfortable, with spacious rooms and thoughtful touches like beach towels, and instructions for use of audio and visual equipment which made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back.

Top-notch condo!

This was a wonderful condo for the five of us. He had a very comfortable stay, and the owners made it easy for us to feel like we were in our own home. The location was great for day road trips, and walking to shops and restaurants.

It’s the little things

Beyond a really cohesive themed environment, what we really liked were the little things that made the stay home. From beach towels, blankets and chairs, to seasoning, extra sun screen; and walkable beach and grocery amenities; we wanted for nothing. We especially liked the patio for morning coffee as we watched the harbor traffic. Thanks Chad, Enid and Lisa. We’ll definitely be back !!!

Conveniently Located, Comfortable Stay

Luxury and fantastic stay

Everything was clean, high end. Loved beach towels provided. Wish there was soap and stuff in the shower, bit otherwise can't complain. The pictures don't do it justice.

Amazing Condo!

This condo has a wonderful view. We enjoyed watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. It was super clean (and I am very picky about that!). We did not walk into Christiansted, but it is definitely doable. The view from the pool deck was amazing. The in-unit washer and dryer is handy to have - we used it a lot. There were beach towels and beach chairs. Great layout, comfy beds and plenty of room for 4 adults. I highly recommend this condo for your stay in Christiansted.

Happy Place Away From Home

We never get tired of this Condo, each time we return we enjoy it even more. Lisa and Chad makes it so easy for us, never a worry in the world. Sitting in the porch is so relaxing at times we didn’t want to venture out. We will definitely keep coming back and look forward to our next trip.

What a wonderful stay, such great service from start with Chad to finish. Coming home I felt relaxed, but I was surely reminded when getting back to my busy life how I missed the beautiful views and serene moments by the pool. I loved everything so close in your new place and will stay again!

Great Stay

Older property, completely renovated and lovely. Minor, and unexpected problems with electrical system were rapidly addressed. Centrally located in St.Croix in/near an older neighborhood. Communication with owner was great from the beginning. Would stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Warm and Fun

The property is located in a safe and well-maintained neighborhood. It’s central located close to the boardwalk, beaches, and night life. The interior is bright, cheerful and nicely detailed. We found what we needed (beach towels, pamphlets, etc). Furniture was comfortable including the beds. Extra blankets and pillows were available. Washer and dryer worked well. There are a few eateries very close by with others at the boardwalk. Highly recommend The Landing at Cane Bay. Good food - great views.

The hosts Chad and Lisa were beyond fantastic!! Lisa met us at the airport to make sure we made it to the property and feel comfortable driving on the left side of the road. She was so informative and always available to answer questions. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and updated. We were there with 6 and we never felt crowded. 3 beds and baths were perfect!

Awesome Getaway at Betty's Hideaway

Our stay at Betty's Hideaway was awesome, from the view of the Christiansted coast, and the lights of downtown Christiansted at night, to the Marina view right in front of the porch, it gave such a relaxing feeling. You can see the Seaplanes landing and taking off from the living room. The Condo is within walking distance from the Ferry to downtown St.Thomas, and half mile walking distance from Christiansted town. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, the Condo is very comfortable, elegant, quiet, and secure. Absolutely nothing to complain about, this Condo is definitely deserving of a 5 Star rating. Chad and Lisa, the property Manager and Hostess were outstanding as well, and made our reservation process and stay trouble free. Everything was as described on the website. Would definitely return and stay at this Condo.

From Start to Finish - world class

From the moment I booked the place I was emailed with check in and greeting instructions. They met me at the airport to show me the way to the property as we followed in our rental. When we opened the door we were greeted by the bright open space and saw the view of the harbor immediately. Every room was covered perfectly decorated and bathrooms sparkling clean. When we said we didn’t have a beach/pool bag two mysteriously appeared on our porch thanks to our host. They gave us all the insight we needed for breakfast and groceries. I can’t wait to return and sit poolside with the breeze from the harbor bringing me the peace and rest we all craved!

The apartment was fantastic! Having three bathrooms made getting ready for activities so convenient. The area was peaceful, and my family spent every morning enjoying coffee on the balcony with the water view, which was truly a 10/10 experience.The apartment was spotless and well-equipped with everything you’d need in a home (dishes, towels, trash bags) and even came with extras like beach towels and beach chairs, which were incredibly useful for our beach day. The complex pool was also great, offering a great view and floaties. The apartment also came with shop suggestions nearby, which was helpful as we needed to buy a few things such as bath soap and other basic things.We also loved that it was within walking distance of the boardwalk (10-15 mins, depending on you're walking speed). My family enjoyed our morning walks into town, exploring different cafés, and getting in some exercise.We extended our stay due to family reasons, and the host was incredibly accommodating. I also want to highlight Lisa, the apartment property manager (I believe), who kindly met us at the airport and guided us to the apartment, such a huge help and greatly appreciated! Overall, I absolutely loved this location and will definitely stay here again (and that’s saying a lot since I’m usually a really tough critic!). Highly recommend!Major highlight..The neighbor downstairs stopped by with fresh mangos for us, which was an incredibly kind gesture that made our stay feel even more special :)!

What a Gem!

What a great home to stay at in St. Croix, VI ! Thank you Chad for making this happen for us on such short notice, we truly enjoyed our stay at Betty's HIdeaway. I love going to a vacation home that is NICER than my own & your place is so beautifully appointed and decorated. Really Comfy & homey w/ that nice *cooooold* A/C to sleep our morning's away or cool off after our beach days. My two son's, aged 7 & 4, were most excited about the "fireplace" in the living area, the push button bathroom vanity mirrors & the multicolored night lights that they could program for bedtime. LOL! Basically anything w/ a button :) Thanks again, truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next stay at Betty's Hidaway, St. Croix, VI!! Peter, Mateo & Caleb N.

A Wonderful House in Paradise

Our group really enjoyed our stay at Chad's place. It's a really great size and there's plenty of room for people to spread out. Somehow, the water view from the deck is even nicer than it looks in pictures - we all loved keeping the curtains open so we could see that gorgeous blue water! Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, and Lisa went above and beyond to support us during our trip, answering plenty of questions and even stopping by with extra blankets for a member of our party. The location is pretty perfect and parking was plentiful. Downtown Christianstead is an easy 15 minute walk/ 5 minute drive and there's a small shopping area about a 5 minute walk from the condo with a great little coffee/ sandwich shop, bookstore, post office, and hardware shop. Groceries were a 5 minute drive/ 10 minute walk. Also, while you'll certianly want a car to explore more of the island, for local things, we all felt very comfortable on foot. There's a short stretch of steep ramp to get into the property, but it wasn't enough to prevent anyone from making it up. The kitchen was well stocked- there were more than enough dishes, and you'll find a pretty good selection of pots and pans that should cover most cooking. There was even a small selection of spices and oil, which is always a nice bonus! Booking for a group is always a challenge, and everyone was so happy with our stay here, which felt like an absolute win. You won't regret a stay here.

Chad has lived in St. Croix during most of his childhood, only leaving to attend military boarding school. He returned to continue to enjoy all that St. Croix and the Caribbean have to offer. He loves to boat, fish, snorkel, scuba and sail. Due to his upbringing on the island of St. Croix, with its diverse history and culture, his travels have been a representation of this fact. Traveling as far as the Philippines, Thailand most of Europe and South America, Chad has emerged himself in each and every areas food, people, music and culture. During his life adventures he found a partner that not only enjoys the very passion to travel but has opened the doors to new life adventures. With the expansion of his family to include their son, they continue to travel creating wonderful memories. Of course their first family trip was to St. Croix for Christmas carnival, which was nothing short of amazing. When not attending to guests needs Chad is a Full time Firefighter/Paramedic for Palm beach County Fire Rescue. For Chad, life has so much to offer, he works hard and plays even harder because he feels it's not only good to take care of the community but it's great to seize the moment. He hopes to hear from you so he may assist you with your vacation travels.

This property is a short walk to the St.Thomas Ferry dock and No Bone cafe great bar fun and dinner. Protestant Cay which is a small 5 acres island resort that's open to public free 3min free ride of to everything you need. But my favorite part of this property. It's a 100% new 18 month full remodel project which was a labor of love every single inch of the this condo was touched and modified. Super quite and awesome views from the pool. This condo will no disappoint. I look forward to having you stay with me and enjoy the great I salad of St.Croix
