Cedar Cabin on Indian Creek in Toledo Village section 6 Fishers Point. Located in a quiet neighborhood on South Toledo Bend, Texas, this lakefront cedar cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all. You can relax on the covered porch, or on the open sundeck, and enjoy the panoramic views of the lake. Pets are welcome, with $75 pet fee. Large covered carport with electricity. Walkway to fishing dock with electricity and covered end, floating swim platform with ladder. Kayaks for guest use, bring your floatation devices! Back deck is 'fenced' with latched gates to prevent
little ones, pets, from escaping. Open sun deck for sitting out, looking at the stars.
Park style charcoal grill, & a place for a fire to roast hot dogs, marshmallows.
2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a fold out cot, & futon. All linens, pillows, provided.
Bathroom with a clawfoot tub & large, enclosed outdoor shower with hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, towels & wash cloths provided.
Open concept for kitchen, living, & dining. Kitchen furnished with dishes, cookware, blender, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, electric range/oven.
Living room has 2 large recliners & futon. Samsung smart TV with Samsung channels. Wifi equipped, & streaming services available.
Drop leaf table can be opened up to seat 4, + 2 bar stools & 2 TV trays for dining, or have your meals on the porch, at the round table with 4 chairs & picnic table.
Window unit in living room heats & cools. Will heat entire cabin if doors are left open. Each bedroom has a window unit & electric heater. No boat? No problem. Fish off the dock, or take out the kayaks, or hire a boat for a fishing trip, cruise around the lake, sunset cruise... ask me for contact info.

We had a perfect, relaxing stay. The host was very friendly amd helpful. The cabin is extremely comfortable and has everything we needed. The outdoor shower was very nice - kids thought showering outside was fun I loved the convenient fishing right outside the backdoor, and kayaking around the lake was great. Can't wait to come back!

The cabin was so cute and comfortable. We loved it the second we walked in. We have already made plans to return to sit on the porch as much as we can. And the owner is the sweetest and very helpful!

No wifi , given wrong connection so could not contact owner. unable to LOCK the unit either front door or back door, neither could the owner..owner came buy the unit and honked the horn it the front while we sat in the back yard. owner came around to back yard unannounced and informed us that they gave us outdated wifi information. so we had no way to call or contact anyone. bathing choices were outside, we tried and were very very cold totally unaccepeable. The inside tub was high off the flood and was dangerous to get in and out as both of us were in our late 80s. there were over 20 notices through the cabin and grounds on what not to do or use. owners ad said all about water activities, swimming,kayaking among the few, when owner knew the lake was down almost 5 feet and swin platform was in 2 feet of water totally unusseable. kayaking would been in a mudhole. Beding was cleen but smelled strongly of a cleaner that never went away. pantry door would not close. floor damage by the refig was NOT or our doingwe stayed as long as we could stand these difficulties and chose to leave before check out time on the 5th day and informed the owner of that.

Great place for a quiet fall getaway. Decks were nice and the local area provided some nice options. We will rent a boat next time to enjoy the fishing and lake touring.

Had a great time at this property. Very cute cabin. Great location. Wish they would add a second floating barrel to make the swim dock more stable, but we otherwise had an amazing time and would love to come back.

Peace - mostly off the grid.

It is a cool little cabin. The owner met us so we could get in - that was MY bad, I did not write down the code. The owner as well as the people in the area are really friendly. It is hard to discribe the beauty of gettig disconnected and feeling the peace.Had a few problems:1. Microwave didn't work.2. The AC in the bedroom didn't cool. We just closed off that room and slept in the other.3. The instability of part of the pier is an issue.

Perfect Gem!! And You couldn’t ask for a better host. We look forward to staying again. We enjoyed fishing on the pier, bird watching, the sunset, the out door chairs, the kayaks, barbecue pit, outdoor shower and so much more. This is a perfect place to spend quality time with family. Peaceful

Our stay was so peaceful and none of us really wanted to leave. The outside shower was so fun and different. The water got very hot and was relaxing after a long day of fishing! We caught brim, bass, and catfish. They weren’t cooking size but still fun to reel in. We also rode in the kayaks and that was a lot of fun! The cabin felt very homey and the beds were extremely comfortable! The WiFi was nice to have to watch a movie at night but overall we stayed off the phones. 10/10 an amazing trip.

Peaceful Relaxation

Very cozy with a rustic cabin look. The view of the water was great. When the sun was setting it was amazing. The area was very quiet and relaxing. A perfect place to just get away and relax.

Was not impressed

Well, the inside of the cabin was nice. Clean very organized.. that’s probably about the best it gets
 for starters, the listing did not say anything about having to use the outside shower.. the tub was very small.. not adequate size for average size adult..hot water only lasted about 5mins.. couldn’t enjoy the outside shower , plus while trying to shower bumble bees were chasing you..the outside property was not maintained.. grass and weeds very high and grown up. Neighboring homes were eyes sores and not maintained. Either looked abandoned and ran down or just not maintained...while trying to fish off the pier, kept being chased by bee’s and if that wasn’t happening overwhelming population of turtles keep trying to get your bait. Constantly fighting off turtle problem..could not enjoy any tv.. no regular or local channels .. had to use Netflix the entire time on my own sign in. No local eateries near by.. have to drive at least 30 mins ..for the price per night and added fees involved
