Staunton Underground is a newly renovated space, located next to the Woodrow Wilson Library and centrally located to all of Downtown Staunton's shops and restaurants.

Staunton Underground is a two bedroom-unit that comfortably sleeps four, with modern updates and original, exposed brick walls. Park your car and walk everywhere while you explore Staunton during your getaway!

Staunton Underground is located in the bottom floor of a historic home. This unit does not have any stairs and is all one level living. A breakdown of the layout is explained below:

BEDROOM 1: Queen bed, two nightstands with lamps (USB plugins for easy phone charging), armchair, DOHM sound machine, luggage rack, closet with hangers.

LIVING ROOM: Sofa that seats 2 (additional armchair seating is available - feel free to arrange the other armchairs in the unit around the sitting area), smart TV (please login to your own streaming platforms), and coffee table.

KITCHEN: Fully stocked kitchen with all major appliances. The stove is electric and the coffee maker is a Keurig - K Cups, creamer, and sugar provided!

DINING: Dining table with seating for 4

BEDROOM 2: Full bed, dresser, small WFH desk with stool, lamp with USB port for easy charging, and closet.

OUTDOOR: Patio with outdoor seating for 2.

Guests will have access to the entire unit and will be able to access it with a keypad door lock.

Other things to note:
Staunton Underground is located on the bottom floor with easy access to the parking lot. You may run into another neighbor from an upstairs unit during your stay, but Staunton Underground is still very private, while centrally located.

We are dog-friendly and happy to host your pup with a pet fee, but please notes that dogs must be under 25 pounds and well-behaved. No cats, fines may apply.

We loved our stay! The beds were super comfy and the location was perfect! My friend and I meet in Staunton once a year as it's in the middle of Philadelphia and Knoxville; we're definitely planning to make this our "go-to" place to stay. We love visiting downtown Staunton as well as taking a day in nearby Crozet and Waynesboro. Our host was responsive and the apartment was lovely. This stay will be a new addition to our yearly girls weekend.

Good location, east walk to downtown, clean, good communication, but in general the house isn't meant to spend any time in. We had some rainy weather which forced us to be indoors more than expected. Chairs, "couch" and even beds weren't comfortable. No chill space. Other than that, overall good experience.

This little nook was spotless, nicely decorated, warmly lit, fabulous linens and well appointed kitchen. It was a convenient walk to all of the historic district. The management staff was quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Cozy, well-appointed hideaway

We had a wonderful stay while visiting a local art show and sharing time with old friends. The host was fabulous and the space was cozy, beautifully designed, and well appointed. The location is perfect as well. Very walkable to downtown. We'll definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We enjoyed our stay. The property is clean and well furnished, and it's in a great location. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops in the downtown area.
