THE SPACE
This is not your cookie cutter Airbnb party pad! The house was built in 1958, and has been carefully remodeled while maintaining as many original elements as possible. My husband is a Scottsdale native, and is passionate about Arizona heritage. We tried to convey that history through the MCM design of the house.
The decoration is a mix of original posters, memorabilia and magazines from the mid-century era, and the wallpaper and furniture have been picked to fit that feel, which interior design amateurs will appreciate.

KIDS FRIENDLY HOUSE
With its kids friendly features, it is a perfect place for families and friends who want to relax together. Pack n' Play, car seat or booster seat provided at no extra cost, high chair, kids dishes, books and toys…

DOG FRIENDLY HOUSE
Small dogs (under 25lbs) are welcome, and the backyard is enclosed. However please be cautious about leaving them alone outside, as they could dig under the fence and escape, and coyotes are known to jump fences!

CHEF’S KITCHEN
We love cooking, and we designed the kitchen with a gas stove and equipped it with all the tools and gadgets we use at home. We hope that the culinary inclined will love it!

LOCATION!
The incredibly central location of the house also makes it an ideal home base for travelers who want to explore Scottsdale and its food and art scene, or for people working in town who need a stylish pad!

BEDROOMS :
Three bedrooms, which all boast wooden floors, room darkening shades, ceiling fans with remote control, extra pillows and spacious closets.
- “The Yellow room”: king bed & adjoining bathroom with its gorgeous Italian walk-in shower and rain shower head.
- “The Orange room”: queen bed, original wooden floor from 1958.
- “The Blue room”: full size day bed and twin trundle, ideal for children or friends. This room also features a workstation with a desk and a chair. The sportsmen lodge feel makes a perfect background for zoom meetings! The closet contains a pack and play, and a basket which holds sheets for the crib and the twin bed.

HALLWAY BATHROOM, which retains the original cast iron bathtub, complemented by Kohler brass fixtures.

CLOSETS :
Hallway closet: extra pillows, extra blanket and tablet pillow, kids corner (books, toys…)
Entrance closet : car seat and booster seat + stroller, first aid kit and fire extinguisher, step stool...

KITCHEN:
Open floor plan, organized around a beautiful central kitchen island, where you can gather to cook and hang out, and watch a game on the TV. Wonderful space for entertaining. Gourmet kitchen equipped with gas stove, farmhouse sink, All-clad cookware, and all the kitchen tools you might need (includes toaster, Vitamix, coffee maker). We provide kids dining ware and all the cooking staples (condiments, oil, vinegar, sugar etc...), because we are renting a home, not a sterile investment property:)

LIVING ROOM:
Smart TV (Netflix, apple TV, You Tube…), books about Arizona’s heritage...
You will find games on and in the TV credenza.

SUN ROOM
Spacious dining room with bar and beverage center, and wide patio doors opening on the backyard. Extendable dining table with 6 chairs.
Sun room closet:
- Workout equipment, 4 sets of dumbbells (3lbs, 5lbs, 7.5lbs, 10lbs), ankle weights, 2 yoga mats.
- Outdoor games are stored there to keep them protected from the sun, connect 4, ring toss game, hula hoops, giant tumbling tower game, water games for little ones….
- Portable fan

LAUNDRY ROOM
Washer and dryer, sink, ironing board, drying rack, brooms and dustpans.
Laundry detergent, dryer sheets and iron are provided and stored under the sink.

BACKYARD:
- Table with 8 chairs and two extension leaves if needed (stored in laundry room)
- 2 lounge chairs with cushions
- One rolling 11' umbrella
- Our beautiful orange tree provides shade on the table in the afternoon and evening. Please be mindful of its branches when you walk underneath, some are quite low.
- No pool yet, but stay tuned for future project!

The house is in a family neighborhood, so please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise levels outside down after 10pm. Because you are walking distance from the W Hotel and the bar district, please be aware that you will hear some music on weekend nights.

In summary, we created a space for design lovers, people who love to kick back, cook and entertain friends, while enjoying all the attractions Old Town Scottsdale has to offer.

Other things to note
- Garbage collection is on Mondays, recycling collection on Fridays
- Fire extinguishers located in the entrance closet and in the laundry room.
- First aid kit located in the entrance closet.
- Loud parties are NOT permitted - 12 people max allowed at the house at all times.
- 3 security cameras, one at the front door, one under the carport and one at the corner of the house in the back.
