The Lion’s Den is a 2,700 SF cabin, built in 2021, contemporary style. It is nestled on top of a ridge in the gated community of Warm Springs Ranch. It overlooks the South Park Basin and surrounding mountain ranges. It is a great base for outdoor adventures and day trips, including hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, hunting, and fishing. Close proximity to Breckenridge, Buena Vista.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The mountain views were absolutely stunning, especially in the mornings and at sunset. It was the perfect peaceful getaway, tucked away in a quiet community but still close enough to everything we needed.Check-in was seamless and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin had all the amenities we could ask for, and the space felt comfortable and well thought out. We especially loved relaxing on the deck and taking in the scenery.Overall, this was a perfect experience and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape!

Family Christmas trip

Home was very nice and clean, loved how much room there was. Owners were very fast to respond to us! They were great! Area and views were amazing.

Built perfectly for a vacation home.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It had everything we needed—comfy beds, a great kitchen, and amazing views. It was the perfect summer base camp, close to everything we wanted to check out and just down the street were great fishing ponds in the housing community. The owners were super responsive and designed the house perfectly for a family. We'll definitely be back for another vacation!

Beautiful secluded property

The property and home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. We were hoping for more snow but it was early January and therefore early season. It was less than an hour to Breckenridge however so we did get some skiing in and came back to a nice warm place with everything we needed to make dinner for the whole family.

Beautiful home - way out away from everything

This place is great. Only downfall is that it’s an hour from Breckenridge and even farther to other ski resorts You will need all wheel drive, don’t be fooled. We were snowed in for one day of our stay due to the snow removal company not coming until Friday evening , (snowed Wednesday and Thursday) This is no fault of the owner but it something that needs addressed for sure. The home has everything you could want or need!

Hi Bradley. Thanks for the positive review about the home. I am sorry to hear you guys were snowed in and couldn't get out. I have to talk to my snow removal guy: that was not right. I pay him good money for snow removal, so he has to hold up on his end of the deal. I was at the house today, and everything looked good. You can always come back! After years of dreaming of a building a mountain get-away, we purchased a lot off High Creek Road in Warm Springs Ranch at the end of 2016. Ground breaking for the new home started in May of 2017. For the construction of the house a contractor was hired to oversee the completion of the main structures. Most of the interior finishes were completed by myself with the help of the family. A lot of time and sweat went into the project, but the result is a home away from home that we can proudly call our own.

Our mountain retreat is located in the foothills of the Mosquito Mountain Range. It offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the South Park valley. The location in the gated community of Warm Springs ensures quiet and peaceful surroundings, far from the hustle and bustle of today's cities. However, it is still close enough to make some great day trips to nearby old mining towns and interesting places and attractions to discover. Skiing in Breckenridge is only a 40 minute drive away and there are plenty of white water rafting companies in nearby Buena Vista. Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The house will be yours alone when you rent with us. There will be no other people on the property while you are there. So, you will have complete privacy. However, while the neighborhood is very quiet and off the beaten path, it is still only less than a 15-minute drive away from the small town of Fairplay where you have some restaurants and can get your groceries. Further, the design of the cabin and the furniture/decoration is very contemporary, not your typical old-fashioned rustic style that you find in most other mountain rentals.
