Our place to stay for Bronco Off-Roadeo

Nice clean place. Comfortable furniture and dog friendly. Off the beaten path, so quiet and private, but near enough to where we wanted to be. The deer in the neighborhood are abundant!

Needed R&R

Needed to have some peace and quiet to regenerate, and this was the perfect place. Amazing number of deer around the property that added the the enjoyment. The host was very helpful and accommodating. My stay was quite pleasant and fully allowed me the opportunity to relax.

The property is quiet and peaceful, deer all around. The home smelled musky and moldy. The host is shady and quick to accuse you, and try and charge you for things you did not do.

Let's start with communication. Emailed the host three times, twice before our check-in date and once while there and no response. The interior is fine and the air conditioners work great. The speakeasy smells and the p-trap under the kitchen sink has a leak (they even had a plastic shoebox underneath to catch the water). It can be fixed for less than $10 in materials. Also killed 3 scorpions in the house - we stayed four nights. The exterior is something else. Weeds up to my knees and some even higher. The fire pit outside the backdoor is unusable because of the weeds. You can basically walk from the driveway to the door on pavers and that's about it, due to the weeds. If you plan on just using this as a place to sleep and don't mind if you have to kill a scorpion or two, you'll probably be ok with it. If you book this place and are planning to take advantage of the fire pit or grill on the front porch/deck, might want to ensure the weeds have been cut.

Secluded and Quiet

Me and my wife had a lovely honeymoon staying at this location. We mostly stayed in and watched movies. Enjoyed drinks and music in the speakeasy room and enjoyed the deer when they would come near the property. We wanted to go out more and explore but the heat and grass spurs kept us inside. Everything was still wonderful.

Exactly what we needed!

This was a beautiful, cozy cottage! Absolutely loved it! The decore made you feel right at home. The host added everything to the smallest details you wouldn’t think to pack on a mini trip! Board games, movies, even toys for our doggies! The only challenge we faced was the sticker! They were everywhere. Definitely wear shoes that cover your feet and leave them at the door or you will track them in.

Home away from home
