Quiet Nice Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Riverepark on Lake LBJ was fantastic. Spacious, lower level was perfect for kids to go play pool, watch TV, and even sleep. Master room was nice, I would recommend some newer light bulbs in the bathroom. Upper story rooms worked well, too. Recommend replacements of stair lights. Flashing in the middle of the night can cause injury. With all that said I would recommend this place for your family stay. We would stay here again.

Beautiful home

The home and property were just beautiful. The only issue was the amount of vegetation in the water behind the house and around the dock. You really couldn’t swim there but we took the kids to the sandbar instead.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a nice house but the setting is nothing like the pictures. It looks like it’s secluded, but it’s actually by a huge bridge that is party central for boats. We stayed there Friday night and Saturday night and both nights boats came by blasting music and parking under the bridge while they partied. There are no drapes in the bunk room so the lights off of the lake offer no rest for adults. My son had to leave and go get a hotel. It was so noisy. It woke up everyone in the house during the night. If you want a nice quiet place for a family stay in Log Country Cove.

Great house...water needs clearing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was nice, but dock area and lakefront of house was overrun with lakeweed, which limited swimming. Very gross. For the cost of this rental that should be cleaned out (reason for low rating on cleanliness of property). There were tall bushes along the edge of the grass at the waterfront, which blocked view of the dock and water from the house decks and yard. Yard is a good size, but good no direct neighbors on either side. House needs room darkening curtains that can be pulled closed for all doors in sleeping areas including game room. Bridge was busier than expected with constant traffic. Bar next door was loud on Saturday night. No hooks anywhere in or outside house to hang bathing suits or wet towels. Kuerig coffee pot is provided but not conducive to a house full of coffee drinkers. Would be nice to have a regular coffee pot to brew pots of coffee. Management company was great and very helpful with our needs. Space in house was great but note there is no bathroom in basement for kids because its in flood plain. Very nice having use of garage and ample parking. Beverage fridge and ice maker were nice to have. Overall house was great. Just a few tweaks and I would rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house and property with great fishing off dock. Clean. The only minor thing with house is bathrooms. The only bathroom/shower for basement and 1st floor guests to bathe in is the master bedroom on first floor otherwise everyone from basement have to climb 2 floors to top level to share the 2 showers upstairs but this is minor issue. There are snakes on dock area. Theres one that lives in bamboo reeds near dock so they should be trimmed out to be safe. Not sure what kind of snake it is but any snake is dangerous until known. Kitchen bar stools have cracked peeling leather and looks cheap and unkept due to this. Simple fix, minor issueBig house needs more trash pickups. Trash was removed one day in the wk and it piles up in garage fast. All these are minor. We loved the experience overall and will return to this house as we can.

Great family time!

We rented this property for Thanksgiving and had plenty of room for all of us. The large yard was perfect for yard games and the game room was perfect for the kids. The house had everything we needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great experience at the Riverpark house. Beautiful property on the water with all the amenities needed. Large bedrooms and fully finished basement/game room/spare bedroom. The only complaint is the overhead rain shower head in the downstairs master bath seemed to calcified and over half of the shower head did not spray water. Also, there was a small leak in the water heater in the garage that filled the pan up abojt halfway. Notified property of these issues.
