In the summer this is a great home base for hiking, biking, beach trips, exploring all that Lake Tahoe has to offer.

The Tahoe Lazy Bear is a 3 bedroom, pet friendly South Lake Tahoe log cabin. Conveniently located off of Pioneer Trail between Sierra-At-Tahoe and Heavenly. Fully fenced yard, cozy living room with gas freestanding stove all add up to a great Lake Tahoe retreat. In the spring and summer it is an easy drive (or bike wide) to Tahoe Paradise Park, Lake Tahoe Golf Course and hiking trails.

This log cabin is a wonderful spot to use as your home base to explore all of Lake Tahoe, in the winter drive to Sierra-At-Tahoe, Heavenly Ski Resort or Kirkwood. A few blocks away there is access to miles of forest service trails: hike, bike, cross-country ski, snowshoe-get out and explore.

The Tahoe Lazy Bear is a single story log cabin, as you enter the home you are in the open living room and kitchen. Down the hallway there are 3 cozy bedrooms and a full bath. Off the kitchen there is a large laundry room with access to the big fenced backyard. The yard is a great place for the kids and your dog to play. In season there is a picnic table and chairs to lounge on. There is a propane BBQ for summer meals.

The Tahoe Lazy bear has televisions set up for streaming and wifi (high speed internet).

El Dorado County Vacation rental ordinances are in effect, quiet hours are 10:00pm-8:00am, but the neighborhoods peace and quiet must be maintained at all times. We appreciate your cooperation.

If the family is looking for a peaceful spot to gather together to relax and play this cabin may just be the spot for you. It is located approximately 5 minutes from the community of Meyers with local favorite restaurants: The Getaway Cafe, The Divided Sky (bar and restaurant) Freel Perk Coffee Shop, Frescana Mexican Bistro, Bob Dog Pizza and Sombrero's Mexican. Holiday Market is a fully stocked grocery store.
In the summer there are two nearby golf courses: Tahoe Paradise Golf Course and Lake Tahoe Golf Course.
In the winter there Tahoe Tube is open on the Tahoe Paradise Golf Course.

This cabin is located in the Tahoe Paradise area, off Pioneer Trail close to Meyers-
Pet Policy: 1 dog is allowed (2 if small under 25 pounds) there is a $250 pet deposit, that will be refunded if there is no pet damage or excess cleaning required.
Guest of record must be 25 years of age of older, guest of record must be present at the property.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads..
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)
