After a fun day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower. In the evening, make s'mores at the flickering firepit. You'll love being situated within walking distance of eateries and attractions.

Boasting a colorful interior, this vacation home features open-concept living with ample space for everyone to spread out. The well-equipped kitchen area has a breakfast bar perfect for a casual bite. Gather together to share a meal in the quaint dining area, then unwind in the living room and stream a movie. A washer/dryer allows you to refresh, and WiFi adds convenience during your stay. At the day’s end, retreat to one of the cozy, spacious rooms to rest for more memories in this lovely home!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Fun experience but house needs updates
This house was a fun place to stay right off the beach. We loved: the amenities in the house that some other beach houses didn’t provide. The kitchen was nice with a great microwave and clean oven. The porch is so beautiful. The biggest plus is that you are right on the water. We didn’t love: Driveway under water, fire pit under water, deck gate only swings halfway open, loose boards on deck, musty smell inside house. The downstairs room is not useable because it has a horrible smell of mildew/mold. Coffee pot that doesn’t work properly. Ice maker doesn’t work properly. Grill is too dirty to use. Small things in house that needed repair prior to someone renting. At least one outlet that didn’t work. Overall we had a wonderful time. This house just needs some TLC.

Very Disappointed
Pictures are very deceiving I guess they were taken with a wide angle camera. Sofa needs to be replaced, cushions outside need replacing, no detergent, coffee machine did not work leaking water, needs new pans, no garbage disposal, no fenced in yard unless you call a 6” picket a fence. Shower doors need cleaning or replacing. Garbage cans were full when we got there. BBQ grill could not be used. The grill looked brand new in the pictures. The house needs a lot of TLC and major cleaning. First time my family came to Houston in 7 years to celebrate the holidays together.

Very disappointed
Loved the location and the deck. However, place was not clean when we arrived. Sticky goop in refrigerator, floor not swept and a layer of dust on furniture. Patio cusions ripped on both sides and a broken deck rocking chair. Then the appliances started to go bad. self-clean lock on oven engaged and unable to open oven. The property manager did send someone. The fix was using a little crowbar in through the vents to attempt to disengage the broken latch every time we needed to open the oven. Decided to use grill for cooking....It was rusted and unusable. By evening they did replace grill and stated they were going to replace oven. The next day was unable to get management company to respond to any text or calls. That continued for the remainder of our stay. (we were there for 1 week) Contact with corporate company with concerns and they just say they will pass on to local. Now working on some sort of refund or compensation for issues and same response, Corporate states they have passed on to local and local will get in touch with me and no response from local management company.

Great location, house needs some work
We loved the location of Emily by the Sea. However, the house itself needs some work. The dishwasher did not work at all. We contacted the property management and they sent out a technician who stated that they would request a new dishwasher. Not helpful for us, but at least it will get fixed. The freezer also kept leaking so we had to turn off the ice maker but still had to mop up large puddles on the floor. The bedrooms are small, especially the bunk room which can sleep 5 but has NO room for luggage other than to push under the beds. The fans in the bathrooms blow HOT air, so there is no using them unless you prefer a steam room. The downstairs sleeping area is so smelly that no one can sleep there. The owner should take this extra space off the listing as it is really not an option. Not sure if it's mold or something else, but we just used the space as an extra bathroom as 7 adults in 2 bathrooms was tight. And, for a house that can have 12 guests, there is little room for everyone to sit together in the family room/kitchen. We brought in beach chairs for extra seating when hanging out in the common areas. I appreciate a home that allows for many people to stay, but when there is no comfortable place for all of us in common areas, then the house is too small for that many people. Also, during a rain storm, the driveway and road floods, so loading the cars after the storm was tricky when walking in ankle deep water.
