Nice but definately could have been better

Property was having work done on it and felt like the home owners were lurking
Séjour de 4 nuits en janvier 2025
VrboOwner a répondu le 23 janv. 2025
That’s a HUGE lie. We never lurked . We went there for the first time after you spent your 2nd night without paying. . I was tired of the lies and the runaround by you. I still havnt been paid. Also you had more than the two people you said in your request to stay. Also you had a dog. You never told me about. Nothing but lies and stealing. Left the place an absolute mess. Food everywhere that we had to spend several hours cleaning. A broken window in the downstairs bedroom that I’m positive the dog broke. Left me with nothing but trouble and now I’m accused of lurking. I will never host you again

Comfortable

It was a nice place to stay. There was no air conditioning in the upstairs bathroom. It was not real hot so it was ok but if it were it would've been uncomfortable. We used the fans quite a bit. We enjoyed our stay. The host was great. Thank you.

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Adams House as part of a family wedding weekend in the area. We loved the charm of the house! Although we didn't cook, the kitchen is well stocked. The loving room and parlor are cozy. The piano--what a focal point! Appreciated a first floor bedroom and bath for grandma. We came from Arizona, Indiana, and California! Easy communication with host with fast response time. A great weekend!

I-44 Speedway Event Stay

We had a great stay at the house during our stay for an event at I-44 Speedway. It worked out well, as there were 3 of us so we each had our own room. Unfortunately, there was a heat wave during our stay, but the house stayed cool with the central AC and individual room units. It was conveniently located near all amenities you could possibly need. Una was phenomenal with her communication which made it even more enjoyable. We plan on having another event at I-44 Speedway in 2024, so we will definitely be looking forward to our stay at the Adams House.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Una Peters

Image de profil de l’hôte
I was born in Ohio and lived for about 25 years in Tucson AZ and I have been here in Lebanon for over 20 years. I enjoy spending time with my family and I enjoy going to St Louis to watch the Cardinals hit one out of the Park. I love hosting because I like making people feel at home while they are away from their home.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I love the location of The Adams House because it is close to everything. Jude's coffee is within walking distance of the place and Walgreens is across the street and the Civic Center is a stones throw away.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The antiquities room is like your own private museum. the piano and the Bombay chest are well over 200 years old.
