Short visit to the Wilmington area to visit my son and his family. I was looking for a small, quiet place to relax when not spending time with the family. This spot met my need perfectly.

We enjoyed our stay here and would consider doing it again. The greatest concerns were regarding: 1. We didn’t get check in details (entry keys, parking instructions, passwords, etc) until 3.5 hrs after check-in time. I had to reach out to the host to get them after they were never delivered when promised. 2. Only being given 1 parking pass for a unit that allows 2 cars and we had 2 cars. Added worry throughout the trip of getting a parking ticket or tow bill. 3. There was no fob to access the pool on site. 4. The host was responsive and pretty quick, but it was evident there was a lot of scattered details (using copy/paste templates that belong to other properties they manage). It made some discussions unnecessarily confusing. Overall a nice stay, but the extremely delayed check in instructions email and only having 1 parking pass were hard to overlook. The rest is more for future considerations.

It was nice, but we wish the fob to the pool would’ve worked, but we had the ocean to swim in so it wasn’t a big deal. I think the price per night for the condo was a little too much though just for the two of us….

Great Pet Friendly Place

We loved our stay at this pet friendly condo. Our dog enjoyed standing on the balcony and watching passerby’s. We loved how short of a walk it was to the beach. It’s a nice quiet community and an excellent place to stay.

Nice location. All the amenities I needed at the condo. Good communication with the property manager. If I make it back to Carolina Beach, this would be my first choice for a place to stay.

I loved the beach but the room didn’t meet expectations. What concerned me most was an unhealthy amount of dust and grime on the air conditioning vent. I slept on the couch right by it and felt it was bad for my health. Because I’m not young, I have balance issues and tripped a few times on the ratty rag that was curled up around the edges. I had duct tape that I used to tape down the edges so I didn’t keep falling. The dryer is too tall for someone that’s not at least 6 ft to reach, but that’s okay because it didn’t work anyway. I asked the host to fix it but she never did. I couldn’t find a plug for the bathtub and I asked the manager for one but she never brought it. Finally, the description said “fully furnished kitchen”but they had no salad or mixing bowl. The owners might not know but you can get that stuff at Dollar Tree really cheap. I just wasn’t going to go out and buy one while I was there. Anyway, it’s like they say, “you get what you pay for”. I enjoyed the beach so much though, and that’s what I came for.

Great location, clean and spacious for 1 BR!

We had a great stay here and would definitely go back! We appreciated all the extra touches like lots of hooks for wet towels/bathing suits, extra coffee, multiple towel sets, board games, beach chairs, etc. It was great to have the outdoor deck space too. We were really pleased with the amount of space and the cleanliness! Would highly recommend!!
