The Meadows Inn - Deux Chambres Maison, Couchages 4

This spacious one level new home is perfect for small families or groups that need the perfect get away and it comes fully equipped with a large full functioning kitchen that flows into a beautiful living room. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet, desk and desk chair, and an ensuite full bath with closet. The second bedroom has a queen-bed and closet. The main bath is a Âœ bath with sit down shower and large closet. There is also a full-size laundry room. High speed internet along with three 55” smart TV's located in both bedrooms and the living room make your stay convenient to access the outside world if you do so choose. Spring, Summer and Fall there will be a gas grill available along with a propane fire pit for your use on the patio. The garage is NOT available for use. This home is located 5 minutes from Grand Marais where you can run to town and grab a Donut for breakfast from World’s Best Donuts and then come back for a round of golf or a glorious hike as we are in walking distance of the Municipal Golf Course and minutes away from the Pincushion Mountain Trail System. Like the snow? We are less than a mile away from the snowmobile trail system and we are only 30 minutes away from Lutsen Mountains so if Skiing is what you are here for, we are the perfect location for that as well. (please keep in mind your ski, golf equipment or any other outdoor activities equipment are NOT to be brought into the rental). We are also only minutes from a Bar and Restaurant! So after a fun day of adventure and you don’t feel like cooking and need a cocktail, I highly recommend it! Have a Birthday, Anniversary or just have a sweet tooth? There is a custom baker on the premises! Superior Cookie Co. Just look me up on FB or IG (link is in my bio) and place your order at least two weeks before your arrival and your dessert can be in the rental upon your arrival or at your suggested time! We look forward to meeting you and having you as our guest!

This was the perfect place for our stay in the Grand Marais area. The property is very clean and well maintained and excellently furnished. Communications with the host are excellent and they were very responsive to our needs during the stay. We are already making plans for next year's stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Meadows Inn. The property location was perfect — just outside of Grand Marias on a quiet road. The house was cute and so clean! And the furniture was very very comfortable — perfect for our group of 3. The kitchen appliances were like new and we had everything we needed for the meals we ate in. The host was very responsive to our questions. 5 stars for sure!

This is the nicest, cleanest, stocked Vrbo I’ve been in. We’ve stayed at many but this was just exceptional. Nice beds, bathrooms, in floor heat.Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Great place to stay

We were looking for a place to stay for a late snowmobile trip and happened to see the sleds parked in front of property in the pictures. We were hoping to ride right from the house but the weather got too warm. Only a 5 minute trip to unload and ride.

Beautiful Retreat

Jennifer is a wonderful host. The home was clean and very comfortable. You cannot beat the peace and quiet! Loved the visit of the Sandhill Cranes! Very centrally located to all of the area's attractions. It's a quick trip to the grocery store. Definitely will be back if we are able to!

Great clean and spacious stay!

The space is brand new, well thought out and very clean! We were in the area to hike the SHT and loved the couch and recliner after a long day of hiking! Great to have a nice kitchen with amenities and comfortable beds to come back to. The home is on the owners property but only saw them once which was also a pleasant experience! We will back and will be putting in a request for a cake prior to our arrival. :) Thanks!

A true gem in Grand Marais!

We feel so lucky to have found the Meadows Inn for our family fall getaway! Upon arrival, we were surprised to find the place to be even larger than it appeared online. The unit was very clean, neat as a pin, tastefully decorated & well organized. All the kitchen & bathroom essentials were stocked. It’s clear that Jennifer takes great pride & care in hosting. She knows what she’s doing! 
also, do yourself a favor and order some of Jennifer’s awesome baked goods (we ordered frosted cookies) ahead of your arrival. You’ll be happy you did😊 She’s very talented!

Quiet and Comfortable

The home was comfortable (reclining furniture, firm bed, spacious bathroom). The owners were on site but worked very hard not to "show up" at our vacation. We stayed for two weeks, working and playing, and the internet was sufficient for our work and streaming TV. The kitchen has many things one would need, including plastic storage dishes for our leftovers. We would have appreciated some casserole dish for the oven, a crockpot and a blender. We also appreciated onsite laundry for our extended stay. The location made it possible for us to hike new North Shore locations and some special places in Canada. We would stay again!

Tranquility bound

Ample, spacious floor plan that comfortably fit our group of 4. Loved that there was a TV in each bedroom as well as the living room. Interior had a cabin feel with the tongue and groove pine ceiling. Plumbing and water pressure was amazing and hot water was almost immediate in the bathrooms. Seemed to take a bit longer for the kitchen though. All the amenities needed to have a great stay. The AC worked great and very cold but my only suggestion would be a fan to help circulate the AC throughout the house since the AC unit isn’t central air. Basically it’s 5 minutes from downtown so to get your groceries or hot/frozen food to the house is a big PLUS and yet it’s set back a ways to be quiet enough to feel like you’re far from civilization. Would definitely enjoy staying here again.
