Family Paradise, Oceanfront Complex Amenities Galore

At A Place at the Beach you’ll be close to all the action in Atlantic Beach, including the fantastic beaches, restaurants, shops, and other beachside attractions. This secured and private resort, offers tennis courts, outdoor charcoal grills, a gym, putt-putt course, basketball court, indoor & outdoor pool, hot tub, and even a 150-ft waterslide!

The condo is located on the third floor and is accessible by an elevator just down the hallway form the unit. Inside you will find all the comforts of home. There is plenty of seating in the living room for the whole family, complete with a sleeper sofa for extra guests. There are two doored bedrooms, the master features a heavenly queen bed with an en suite four-piece bathroom and smart TV. The second bedroom is located off the living room and features two bunks with a three-piece bath with shower stall down the hall. All beds come made with luxury linens and bathrooms have a starter set of towels for you and your guests. The galley kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and all the extras you could hope for such as a toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, ETC. A beach cart and a few beach chairs/ towels that can help you start your beach fun off right. There is a direct ADA beach access out in front of the units,. No smoking. No pets!!!!

On the property, a 150-foot waterslide spills into their Oceanfront outdoor pool and promises an exhilarating ride. Swim year round in their indoor swimming pool and take advantage of the relaxing whirlpool at the end of a long day in the sun, and for those that enjoy outdoor whirlpools they have one available for you to enjoy as well. Additionally, the property boosts tennis and basketball courts, a game room, a large interior courtyard with kids playground, gas and charcoal grills beside indoor pool, Shuffleboard AND a 9-hole putt putt golf course. Winter maintenance can close pools or boardwalks without warning, so ask prior to booking as no refunds will be offered for property amenities not being available.

Very nice updated condo, the pools and hot tubs were a definite plus as well and waterslide was a huge hit. The host was very friendly and available. The host also supplies tons of beach gear in the condo which was very nice. No complaints.

Excellent condo & location

Family of four very happy with our stay in this condo. The second bathroom was very helpful and my teen and tween were comfortable with the bunk room. The beach can be windy but is beautiful, and the property is very nice with great amenities (pool and slide are awesome). I was very impressed with the condo amenities (so many towels! soap! lots of beach toys and chairs! the beach cart! kitchen necessities!) Seriously, I’ve stayed in my fair share of VRBOs and this one wins as far as being stocked. The unit was very clean and has a nice view too.

The best condo!

We have been staying at A Place At The Beach for over 10 years and have rented several units. This condo was our very favorite! The check in process was so easy, we didn’t have to go to a rental company or the office. The keys and everything we needed were right at the condo. Cathy reached out to me and checked on us when we arrived. She shared a little about her personal life, it felt like we were old friends. It was nice that she took time to chat via text. The condo itself was spotless. It was renovated and decorated so nicely. We loved how they made the space so comfortable but very efficient. Several things we noted that differed from other condos we have stayed out was all the extras. We had a beautiful gift basket waiting for us. The kitchen was fully stocked, even with paper plates, ziplock bags and tinfoil. The bed linens and beds were extremely comfortable. There was an over abundance of bath towels. They had coolers, beach towels, a beach cart and beach chairs available for use. We loved the view of the ocean and pool as well. This really is a great place to stay! If I had to mention one negative, it would be there isn’t an oven. There is a stove top. However, this actually worked to my advantage because it made me cook less on my perfect vacation. I really hope we can tent this perfect condo again. Thanks for sharing!!!

Perfect Location

Our stay was perfect. The owner was prompt with responses and very accommodating to our request. The condo was clean which is very important to us. We also appreciated that it was not pet friendly which is challenging to find nowadays. The condo had everything we could have needed including beach equipment and toys. We will definitely be staying again!!! The family enjoyed the comfort of being able to see the pool, soccer fields, and picnic area from the balcony and condo window. Our son had a blast with his friends on the property.

Absolutely Perfect Experience

My spouse and I stayed here with our daughter to celebrate her fifth birthday and Easter weekend. Our experience here could not have been more magical. Our daughter is already asking to “come back next week”. The owner was wonderful and communicated with me perfectly despite technical issues with VRBO s app. She was so kind and thoughtful. She even left surprises for our daughter and us. There are thoughtful touches throughout . A clothesline on the porch, charging plugs, toys and games, TVs in different rooms, wonderful linens, cozy blankets. This is truly one of the most cozy rentals I’ve been in due to these little touches everywhere. We look forward to staying here again and again. The private beach and amenities here are perfect for families with kids. Everything is wonderful. Both pools are well cared for and not over chemically treated. Everyone on staff has been really nice. We have loved this place. Thank you so much.

A short stay at the beach

We were in town for a fishing trip and this property was just what we needed. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights and the available amenities on the property are great. The beach is just a short walk away. It wasn’t too busy at the complex, but it was very quiet within the building and were never bothered by noise. The condo was very clean and you can tell that they take pride in cleaning the areas that in most rentals tend to collect dust. Cathy was a great host with great communication. We would definitely consider staying here again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this beautifully decorated, well maintained condo! It had everything we needed to enjoy our trip to the beach. Very clean, lots to do in the area. Not far from shopping and restaurants. Right on beach and they have plenty of beach accessories available, with a tote wagon. Kitchen gallery is small, but we eat out mostly so no problem. The host is wonderful to work with.
