Come escape to this peaceful waterfront cottage and enjoy everything the river life has to offer. You can start your day drinking coffee in the porch swings watching the sun rise over the bay and finish your day drinking a cold beverage down by the water in the Adirondack chairs while watching the sunset over the creek. Bring the home office and work while enjoying the view! 5 minute walk to the marina or beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay at the little blue house. It is well furnished with a completely equipped kitchen. Peaceful water views. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds. Easy access to White Stone, Kilmarnock and Urbanna. We took advantage of getting take out at The River Market in White Stone and Something Different in Urbanna. Forrest was VERY responsive. All in all
.a great stay.

Peaceful Stay

Unfortunately our stay in the area was necessitated by a death in the family. The Little Blue Cottage was a perfect peaceful refuge as we were handling arrangements. The location on the water was so tranquil (and our dogs loved it too)!

I sent my wife, her foreign guest, and the neighbor on an outing—mainly because the noise level at home had reached “incoming artillery level”.I steered them away from repetitive shopping, they enjoyed some fresh air, and I found the sound of silence.Unfortunately

Cute cottage with great location

The little blue cottage had everything we needed- plenty of space, kayaks for fun and clean towels and sheets. We really enjoyed the short commute to Wake beach and the views from the house.

Beautiful and quiet

Two of my friends and I stayed at this wonderful vacation spot. Beautiful views of the water. Spacious for the three of us. We enjoyed sitting outside either on the swings or in the Adirondack chairs on the pier. Even when it was chilly, we could enjoy the view from inside sitting at the dining room table, in the den and even from the kitchen. Comfortable beds and clean house. Would definitely return!

Dreamy place

The little blue cottage is situated on the beautiful Rappahannock River. Upon arrival, we experienced instant relaxation. What a view. We enjoyed this bright, clean little haven so much. Tucked away, yet close to great places to explore and dine.
