Stunning Lake Front Home on Lake Whistler - Perfect for all the Family to Enjoy!

Home from home, Lake Whistler Hideaway has all you need for the perfect getaway - pool, stunning lake view, family area, fully functional Kitchen and outdoor grill!

Located in Auburndale, just south of Orlando, you will be close to all Theme Parks (we have travelled to Disney in around 30mins) and just across the road from sLake Myrtle Sports Complex. You will also be in the perfect location for Legoland, Fantasy of Flight and easy access to I4 for a quick jaunt to the Tampa area beaches and Busch Gardens. Waterskiing available on site, or lessons available at Ski Fluid, Lucky Lowe and Cable Skiing at Lake Myrtle.

The first floor of our beautiful home has an open floor plan, plenty of seating for watching TV or meal time and opens up to the gorgeous saline pool and lanai, which overlooks Lake Whistler.

The Master Bedroom is tucked away on the upper floor, ensuring plenty of privacy from the 3 first floor bedrooms.

The Kitchen has everything you will need and a Breakfast bar that seats 4. The adjacent dining area seats 8 and has a view of the Lake.

The living area has comfy sofas and a flatscreen TV. There is a washing machine and dryer in the garage. Extras include a BBQ, child booster/high chair, travel cot and Jon Boat for guest use.

There is no launch on site for boats or watercraft. There is no public launch on Lake Whistler. No boats or trailers permitted on the premises.

Ski Nautique is available for competent drivers - please contact host for more info.

Waterski Slalom Course on the Lake.

The view of the lake is beautiful. The pool is great, and the house is just what we needed. This is my third time staying at this house and definitely won’t be the last.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this home, Steve & Vanessa were quite attentive, making sure it was to our liking and that we were comfortable. The house was clean, the neighborhood is safe and convenient to shopping and eating out, the views were beautiful, and the pool was wonderfully refreshing. We could not have asked for more and cannot wait to come back!

Vacation days before Graduation

We arrived on Wednesday night and everything was just like it was explained to us. We had a son graduating from Florida Polytechnic University on Sunday. The house was located about 12 minutes from campus which gave us quick access. We loved the pool and the extra space for the moments we had to relax.

Leisure Time by the Lake

The booking was easy and the hosts were very gracious and timely with communication. The property is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was pristine and well-stocked. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. The pool area is screened in to keep bugs out. The birds and wildlife were wonderful to watch from the second floor balcony at sunrise. We had a lovely time.

Baseball Haven

This is a great place to stay if you’re in town for a baseball tournament. The pool is fantastic after melting at the fields. It’s a central location to Gulf side beaches or hitting up Orlando amusement parks. We appreciated that the kitchen had all things we needed and there were plenty of towels. Thanks for a great stay!

Soccer Tournament Stay

We stayed here from out of state for a soccer tournament. Perfect location to the fields! View of lake was amazing and my son loved fishing. The pool was very nice after a hot day. Nice updated kitchen and master bath. Fully stocked with little extras like fishing poles and beach towels. A little rustic inside but nice. Would recommend.

Bush Gardens Vacay!

This neighborhood was so conveniently located between Tampa Bay & Orlando. We checked out Bush Gardens, St Pete Beach and then drove an hour to Orlando to visit the parks. The pool felt so good after a long day of walking around the parks.

Truly tranquil

This house is amazing. Great location .. lots of tree frogs though. Nothing that can be helped honestly. Very nice, clean, well maintained, fully stocked for cooking etc. Prime Location and has become my favorite place now when need something in Central Florida. Host are amazing and communicative people.

Very nice stay

We spent most of our time enjoying the view and the heated pool. House is spacious and master bedroom has an awesome elevated view of the lake. Saw great sunrises and moonrises from the master bedroom deck.

Flawless Owner Communication, Lovely Stay

We spent a family holiday here over Christmas, and were thrilled with both the house and the fantastic communication of the owners. The kids enjoyed the heated pool, and I really enjoyed knowing we were heading to a location cared for well by the owners. Internet was high speed, plenty of food options around, and they even decorated for the holiday, a lovely surprise. Great quiet neighborhood, about an hour from TPA and just over that from MCO. We'd gladly come back for another visit someday!

We purchased and renovated the property in 2016 and have been spending our vacation at Lake Whistler Hideaway since then.

Lake Whistler Hideaway is the perfect place to escape to and we hope that you will like it too!

We love hosting our home and especially reading all the comments in the visitors' book to see where guests have visited us from. It is also lovely to see the same guests return year after year.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

As a family we waterski and absolutely love skiing in our back yard! Even if you do not ski, there is plenty of fishing on the lake and the wildlife is amazing, with otters, pelicans and baby turtles. You can also just float around in the pool.

Our girls also love Disney and the theme parks, so this is the ideal property to keep everyone happy.

Our house is situated in a residential area and we have made some great friends with our neighbours.
