The Garden Cottage House with stunning large pool/jacuzzi, baby grand piano

From this centrally located country home and garden, you can unwind and enjoy small family get-togethers. You will find surprises at every turn as it is entirely equipped with every possible amenity that one could hope for and more.
The gorgeous park-sized pool and spa is superb. The jacuzzi is large enough for small children to swim! The pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, jasmine vines, and baby fruit trees. The heating of the jacuzzi and/or pool is not included in the base price but varies by season. Please ask for details. A BBQ is available if you are more of an outdoor gourmet! Enjoy the garden views of the sunset poolside or make s’mores at the fire pit. There is a children's playground outdoors with a cozy toddler swing, regular swing and a trapeze bar. There is plenty of space indoors for play and activities. Games, cards, juggling, puzzles for all ages, an oversized smart t.v., a large array of books, cookbooks, etc... Adults and supervised children can play piano on the stunning electric baby grand piano. This property feels like a private oasis in the middle of the city.
A private gate encloses the front yard at night and the large back yard is completely enclosed . An outdoor Ring/Doorbell camera faces the entrance/entry pathway for extra security. A smart lock allows you to have your own personal entry code. All night "partying" and in/out guests will be asked to leave. We welcome caring folks to enjoy the special beauty of this home and the stunning backyard with a diverse array of flora and fauna. Special events by permission only with possible event fee. Ask about non-shedding tiny pets with pet fee by permission on occasion. No allergens may be introduced. Thank you.

This lovely property exceeded all of our expectations! The house was beautifully furnished with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay truly exceptional. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could have needed to cook meals, and the abundance of games, toys, and items for babies/children was incredible. The pool was sparkling clean and the grounds were impeccably maintained.But what really made this stay so wonderful was the warm and welcoming hosts. They were a pleasure to interact with and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. This was hands down the best rental we've ever stayed in, and we can't wait to come back.

The home is a cozy cottage. Upon arriving the spa was ready and heated. The home was clean and comfortable. Favorite parts were the warm but roomy family room, spa and the large jet tub!

Property is beautiful and very well cared for. Met the owners and they are terrific. The property is tucked back from the street so it seems like you are away from people which was very relaxing. Just what we needed. And we really enjoyed the pool.

Ginger and Joe are wonderful. Communication was outstanding. The property was great. They have everything you need for a family. CRIBS, baby monitor, high chair, toys. Kitchen fully stock. Amazing Dog Friendly Home Away from Home

The property and has was even more amazing in person! Large fully fenced yard, lawn area, pool, and hot tub. On the same property as the owners but still secluded enough that you don’t feel like you’re a bother to anyone. Easy parking, full amenities throughout the house, cannot wait to stay again!

Daughters trip

Me and my daughters had a great time staying here! Very clean, completely furnished and stocked. Even had laundry detergent and some basic cooking ingredients available. The pool and hot tub we didn’t stay out of. Lol! Overall 10 out of 10. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

When we arrived we were greeted by Ginger and had a nice tour and chat. The hosts were very accomodating for our variety of needs over our 8 day visit. Our only issues were that ants came in, and that can happen any where, and that the jacuzzi didn't work as expected. There was heat but no bubbles no matter the setting. When I tried to communicate with them about it, they didn't respond til the next day. That is understandable since it was somewhat late, around 9pm, when we realized the issue. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we need that much space. Thank you!d had a nice tour and chat

Citrus Heights Cottage

Everything about this property is great, they have thought of everything. Wonderful AC, important in the Sac area. Fully equipped kitchen. Really clean. Comfortable beds. The pool is giant and so is the hot tub, also both very clean and such a treat for the Sacramento heat. It was very quiet. I felt safe, important for a person traveling alone. I would stay again.

Ginger is a former teacher who loves kids, families & hosting. Ginger and Joseph were foster parents to a host of children and enjoy walks at the park across the street, entertaining people, playing pickle ball across the street, cooking and baking, and going to theatre productions of our own children!
We have lived in the Sacramento area most of our lives and enjoy giving back to our community. We enjoy treating our guests and making them feel like they are in a special place, a beloved home away from home.

Ginger goes out of her way to create a space for you that is cozy & beautiful with EVERY possible amenity you can think of so guests can truly feel at home without any worry about what they may have forgotten to pack. Special soaps, lotions, cute bedding, blankets, play areas all in a setting that is meticulously organized and clean.
Guests have commented that Ginger should be an interior designer and surely she shops a lot to make her guest house stunningly beautiful.
