Welcome to the beautiful luxury beach cabin, the S.S. Escape! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach, this house is perfect for families or couples traveling together. A location in the highly desirable Sandy Shores, provides easy and quick access to the stores and restaurants. The neighborhood has direct beach access by car, golf cart, walking etc. The covered deck is perfect for enjoying the view. The downstairs area has ample lighting, picnic tables, and a bar area for entertaining. Enjoy your comfortable stay on your Texas beach vacation!

Wonderful family getaway

We enjoyed this property so much, we will probably book it again this year. A short little walk to the beach, wonderful views and plenty of sleeping space for the family.

Quiet neighborhood close to beach

We really enjoyed the neighborhood as it was well kept and seemed pretty low key and quiet. The house was a short walk to the beach and a great set up for 4 adults and 2 kids. We could have fit more people if needed.

Yearly Family Beach Stay

We chose this cabin for our annual family stay this year. Cute little cabin in our fav neighborhood. Hosts were super responsive to questions and would definitely rent again.

Spring bird migration vacation

The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay while we sought out birds migrating through the Houston Audubon Society’s local sanctuaries. I would definitely stay here again.

Sisters Getaway

Location was great close to the beach access, beautiful and clean house. Easy check-in, locking the door was interesting but directions are on the door side panel, and it worked no problem. Had a wonderful time nice neighborhood, very quiet during the week.

Beautiful Home

We had a lovely stay at this property! The host responds very quickly and resolved any issues we had. I would recommend this place to anyone and to get a golf cart. A night ride on the beach is so peaceful.

Great Rental

House was very clean and finishes/furniture was very nice. The location is very close to the beach. Host responded quickly to questions and she even allowed us to check-out a bit later since the house wasn’t fully ready for check-in on time due to weather issues preventing cleaning crew from reaching the house. I’d rent this house again.

Last minute Escape

We had a great weekend and loved the home. The location is perfect and has nice beach views from porch, without paying for front row! Very friendly neighborhood and easy access to the beach. Plenty room for parking and we had a lowboy trailer and 3 cars and did have room for more. Access road is at trash can 93 for anyone curious.

Beach vacation

The beach is close by, the property was very nice and the AC works great! The only thing that was a small downside is the property didn’t have any soap or shampoo. The property did tell us about that and there were plenty of open stores open to buy these things.

Labor Day Girls Trip

Wonderful experience! Everything from checking in to checking out was a breeze! The house was even more beautiful in person than online. Perfect water view for sitting on the balcony enjoying coffee or just hanging out for evening drinks. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lots of towels, and toilet paper, the bed in the rooms were also really comfortable. If your looking for anything from a family vacation or girls trip this is perfect! The neighborhood was exceptional. Every house is very nice and very maintained that it was surrounded by. Right around the corner from beach access making it easy to go back and forth. Just an overall very pleasant experience! We will definitely be booking again in the future coming back.

Quick weekend getaway

This house was very nice, clean, and roomy. The neighborhood was quiet. We couldn't stop talking about the layout of the kitchen! It was perfect! We came here for my daughter's 15th birthday and the bunk room was spacious for her and 5 of her friends. Also walking distance to the beach, but could access by vehicle too! There were just a few things I had to message the owner about but she was quick to respond. One was the air filter needed to be changed, and the other was the remote missing to the ceiling fan in the living room. Nothing major. It was a great stay!!

Excellent Price, communication & overall pleasant stay

Elizabeth was pleasure to communicate with at all times. We even accidentally left some things behind which was our fault, and she was willing to make arrangements to have them returned to us. We brought it to her attention that the cleaning crew who prepared the home for our arrival definitely missed some things, and left one of their main cabinets with supplies unlocked, however, this was not her fault. Someone’s dirty clothes were left behind in one of the drawers but again that’s some thing the cleaning crew missed and not Elizabeth’s fault. Overall everything we needed was provided, and the view was beautiful. Very pleasant stay and would recommend Elizabeth and her home for anyone traveling with a family!

Perfect Getaway!

We arrived on Monday to the cutest little beach house. The house layout was just wonderful, the openness made it feel so big! We loved the bed w the bunks, they were so spacious. The house came well equipped with anything you would need! I loved being able to see the ocean from the deck. The walk to the beach was easy for all of us (even my 6 year old was willing to walk it multiple times a day). The outdoor area was great. I forgot that you can drive on the beach, so I was on high alert with my kiddo running across. (This was my own oversight). The house itself, location, and description was everything listed. I was very happy w this property and Elizabeth was amazing!

Wonderful Get Together

Our group of seven 77 year old friends that have been friends a long time....some since birth, some since about three years old, one since 4th grade and one since high schooll....have been having annual get togethers for about 30 years. We usually try to select a location in TX sort of the middle of where we all live. We all started our friendship in San Angelo, TX. Three of the friends still live in San Angelo, one lives in Rosanky, TX, one lives in Round Rock TX, one lives in Victoria, TX and one lives in Katy, TX. We enjoyed your beautiful house, especially drinking coffee in the morning and visiting in the evening on the deck. Some enjoyed walking to the beach, some enjoyed riding to the beach, and one enjoyed reading in the housel.au We rode around the the island some and found some neat little shops and a great restaurant,Stingaree. The rain didn't keep us from enjoying our time together. We just took advantage of things we wanted to do in between the rain.
