Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Meadows of Dan, Virginia. Our stylish and fun `cottage` takes glamping to a whole new level. The open-concept living and kitchen area make the most of the long, narrow floor plan and the small, but cute bathroom features a tub/shower. Stargaze far from city lights and relax in our thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed and fresh, clean linens.

Our kitchen is well-stocked with cooking essentials and guests can enjoy grilling on the gas BBQ on the back porch. The large yard space provides plenty of room for outdoor activities and there is a fire ring, seating, and cafe lights on the gravel patio in the back.

While our cottage is a glamorous single wide mobile home, it has been given a lot of love and attention. It may have a few dents and dings on the exterior, mostly paneled walls, a narrow floor plan, and slightly lower ceilings, but the cozy and comfortable interior makes up for it. Guests have access to the entire home and are welcome to explore and enjoy the surrounding yard space.

Meadows of Dan is a quiet country town, with the Blue Ridge Parkway running through downtown and the world-renowned Primland Resort nearby. Wine lovers can visit the two wonderful nearby wineries, Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalachia. Nature enthusiasts will be delighted to discover multiple nearby waterfalls and hiking trails, including the historic Mabry Mill and the town of Floyd, home of Floyd Fest, and Stuart, known for its road biking opportunities, are just a short drive away. With so much to see, do, and explore in our beautiful mountains, our cottage is the perfect vacation destination.
Just a few reminders:
1 - Pets allowed with permission, MAX 2 dogs, sorry NO cats.
2 - Absolutely NO Smoking of any kind
3 - Please do not move furniture
4 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels
5 - Remember it`s our home, so treat it with respect
6 - The grill is propane.
7 - Bring your own wood and marshmallows for the firepit.
