Great location on the beach. Everything you need for a relaxing trip and AC worked great. Easy check-in & check-out process, and the host was excellent. The living room is a little cozy, but you will spend most of your time outside. Look forward to returning to Exuma soon.

Location to airport/town were perfect! Beach it’s located on was amazing! House manager was very responsive and helpful! Downsides, cleanliness was great especially in the bathrooms, floors were dirty and showers just didn’t make you feel clean as the bathrooms were dirty. The house is also unfinished lots of missing caulk, closet doors were leaning against the walls and towels for a small family were limited for a 3 night stay.

Thank you for your feedback we truly appreciate you taking the time to share it. We did want to gently clarify that your review mentioned the bathrooms were especially clean, yet also described them as dirty. Cleanliness is extremely important to us. The home is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to each arrival, and the stone showers are thoroughly scrubbed after every stay. Additionally a plethora of towels are stored in the drawers .If you were unsure of their location, we always encourage guests to reach out , as noted in our welcome message and as our host personally told you after you checked in, we are readily available and happy to assist with anything needed during the stay. We remain confident that the home is accurately represented in our listing and are committed to maintaining a high standard for every guest.

Our original rental cancelled on us with less than 48 hours' notice, so we scrambled and booked this property. Our family of three was very comfortable, and the beachfront location can't be beat. However, the road quality was very poor, and we did sadly get a flat tire (one of two during our short time on the island). The kitchen was very well stocked, but we did need to buy addtl. toilet paper and hand soap at the convenience store nearby. We were unable to get the TV to work and needed to dine at the coffee table in the evenings due to the wind, but we made it work.

Our 5 days here was great and the location was perfect. We practically had the beautiful beach to ourselves. Felt off the grid and the property was clean and comfortable. Our host went over and beyond to make sure our stay felt like home and we can’t wait to return!

Simply wonderful! Great secluded beachfront location and the house was clean, modern and fully equipped. The host was amazing from start to finish... very friendly, responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to return!

Cozy Modern Beachfront Cottage

Our stay was fantastic! The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and on the beach with a nice outdoor gathering area, including a grill. Also close to grocery stores and restaurants. Perfect for a couple or two looking for privacy with all needed comforts. The host was sure to check in to ensure all was well, which was much appreciated. My husband and I will be back!

Watch the sunrise and set...

Greeted with a warm smile, our host welcomed us "home" to vacation. Amazing response to our requests... even installed a sun umbrella so we could enjoy time in the shade. Beach for walking, surfing and falling asleep with relaxing sound of waves breaking just outside your window.

Stunning beachfront!

The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! The house is immaculately clean and new and the washer and dryer were super useful! The highlight though is the stunning beach which is literally 20 steps away! Fantastic outdoor areas, more than other similar houses that we had considered. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect location for the best vacation you can have in Exuma. The beach here is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice and the home is brand new, clean and in perfect condition. The host was great also! We arrived with bad weather and he went the extra mile to makes us feel as comfortable as possible. We will be going back

Great place

This is a really great place. Super clean and comfortable. Great access to ocean. Steps to the beach. Dine outside on patio. Lots of beach accessories supplied and host super responsive. I would highly recommend getting a rental car, get a one day pass at Grand Isle resort and/or renting a boat to explore Stocking Island so that you can experience different areas of the island. We rented a boat from Exuma Boat rental, Allison and Exuma auto rental

Paradise found

Maxine’s cottage was just perfect for our family of 4! Words can’t describe the feeling of waking up each morning to turquoise waves rolling just outside your window. Our sons made use of the boogie boards & games, and we looked forward to cooking at home each night in the well-equipped kitchen. The laundry machines were a nice bonus, as our clothes became salty from all of the fun in the sun. We really enjoyed the beachfront location on the north end of the island, and easy access to Queen’s Highway. Our family is already planning our next trip back to paradise!

Cute and cozy

Cute little cottage on the beach. Great layout. Property manager was very helpful. We arrived on a Sunday and grocery stores are closed so he brought us water and soda along with some snacks in the cottage. We did have trouble with the internet for the first few days but finally got it working. I would recommend a couple additional chairs in sitting area to go with the couch and beach towels for guests. Overall it was a great little vacation spot.

Perfect Little Beach-Front Cottage!

This is truly a cozy VRBO that is exactly as listed - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room/kitchen area in between. The kitchen was equipped with the basic necessities - stove top, microwave, fridge/freezer & some spices/oils/pots/dishes. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean and private - one is beach facing, the other faces the sunsets. Most importantly, there is PLENTY of outdoor space with hammocks, lounge chairs and seating which are all ocean adjacent + (and BEST OF ALL) the gorgeous beach is literally steps away with a private entrance to the sand. If you’re visiting Exuma with the beach & sunshine in mind, this is a total no brainer!!!! Great location, as well, (about 15 minutes from Georgetown and 10 minutes from the airport). We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic visit, from start to finish! This is a brand new property and it's very clean and comfortable. The location is fabulous.... oceanfront on a private beach. The property owner is very pleasant, easy to reach, and super helpful. We forgot some important items and he went out of his way to help us obtain them. This is a safe location and we were so comfortable...we would have happily stayed for much longer if we had more time off of work. I recommend this property wholeheartedly! :)

Perfect Escape on a Perfect Beach

I booked this place as a surprise for my wife and I to celebrate an important birthday and couldn't have made a better choice. The house is as the pictures show--modern, tastefully decorated, and bright--and located on what seemed to us the most beautiful beach in all Exuma. The water simply glowed with ever-changing shades of turquoise and the sand was the softest we'd walked on. Even better, with one exception, we had the beach to ourselves the whole time! The unit had nice amenities, including a music system with speakers outdoors. The place was also conveniently located for getting around by car, which we did often after getting over initial nerves about driving on the other side of the road! It is only a short way from Queen's Highway--the major highway on the island--and traffic was very light. We enjoyed easy drives to Hooper's Bay, where we swam with sea turtles, and fun restaurants, including Big Ds, Shirleys, and the Cocoplum Bistro. Maxine was also great about keeping in touch (when we had a question about the outdoor sound system and didn't respond quickly after she texted a tip, she sent her son around to make sure we'd gotten it going!). And, knowing of the reason for our trip, she left a bottle of sparkling wine for us to toast my wife's birthday, which was much appreciated! A wonderful escape and I hope we can return soon!
