Completely blown away with this vacation rental. It had everything our family needed to make a fantastic vacation. Plenty of towels, blankets and fully stocked kitchen. If you’re looking for a small area to tuck away your mother-in-law, this place has it. The pictures do not do this vacation rental justice. It’s much better in person. The hosts were responsive and amazing. I am definitely going to book this vacation rental again.

Thanksgiving family reunion

The property is extremely well equipped for large groups. Proximity to beach access is fantastic! The pool was nicely heated. Our family had a great time.

The house was perfect for our family of 12 with ages ranging from 21-72 plus our small dog. It is an easy walk to the beach and lots of beach chairs for everyone. We also had a few 4X4 wheel vehicles so would just load up with all the chairs and coolers and drive and park close to the beach access so people could easily walk to and from the house when people wanted to come and go. The location was quiet but a quick drive to grocery, putt putt, and downtown St Augustine for all the entertainment there. The owner was very responsive with any questions or issues that came up during our stay. We would definitely come back and stay at the property for our next family vacation.

Really great house! Close to the beach. Only thing to add would possibly be a hot tub, especially since the pool is small.

Amazing beach house

This was the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at. The house was amazing - spacious, clean, and beautiful. The pool was the best part. ~5 minute walk to the beach and 15 minute drive to downtown St Augustine. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful gathering place for a large group

The location and house were perfect for our large family! The description says 6 bedrooms; there are actually 7, which worked out great since we had one planning to sleep on the couch! She was thrilled to have her own room. The kids enjoyed the pool, but the walk to the beach was not bad at all! We may book this place again!

Stay was very nice. Had some technical issues with the speaker system which caused it to be unusable, garage door was not reliably working, and pool had to be looked at in order to get heater to work. Otherwise, the house was very nice!

Best Vacation Spot ever!

We had the most amazing time staying at Josh and Jared’s beach home! The facilities were all very clean and comfortable. TONS of space for our group of 14 to spread out and have privacy but also lots of group spaces to hang out together. We loved spending the mornings at the beach (a very easy and short walk!) and the evenings relaxing in the pool. The home also had a very well stocked kitchen - we brought tons of our own cooking supplies and didn’t even really need them. I also really appreciated the quick and responsive communication from the hosts. We hope to stay here again next year!

Fantastic Stay! Would Absolutely Come Back!

We really enjoyed our time here as a large group of 10+. The beds were so so comfortable (unusual for a VRBO) we all commented on it all weekend. We slept like babies. The AC was perfect, no weird smells and everything felt super clean. The kitchen was well provisioned to cook in and previous families had left some good basic ingredients. Location to the beach was totally walkable without stuff in your hands, and theres free parking right down the road if you have lots of beach supplies. The place also came with LOTS of beach equipment for kids (or childish adults like us) The hosts were so communicative and helpful, we really loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Overall property was clean but there were lizards in the bedrooms, shower was clogged and dirty on the second floor, and the pool maintenance guy came unannounced during our stay which startled our guests.

Great except pool

This property was nice. The beds were very comfortable and the Inside space worked well for our family. There are two sets of washers/dryers. Our main issue was the pool being green and cloudy when we arrived on Saturday and the pool service was unable to come until Monday. After treating the pool we had to wait another day to use it. We found out from the pool service they were in the process of converting to salt water. A pool is at the top of our list when renting a vacation home so this was extremely disappointing for our family especially since the beach was farther than the advertised 5 minute walk and you must cross a very busy road (A1A) without cross walks. They do provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a wagon. There is a long boardwalk with a lot of steps so you will need someone to help carry the wagon up the steps when you get to the boardwalk.
