This cozy Tuscany themed cottage is part of the Hearts of Arden Estate and Cottages. The property, once owned by cosmetic mogul Elizabeth Arden, is within walking distance of historic Summerville. "Tuscany" is a quaint cottage w/1 king bed, 1 full Sleeper sofa bed, full bath, Nespresso coffee bar, refrigerator, microwave oven, private porch, pool access, beautiful grounds, and is a 25 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Hearts of Arden Estate & Cottages, built in 1891, and recently seen on the Magnolia Network show Happy to Be Home With the Benkos, is a fully gated, non smoking property. Pets are not permitted.

Comfortable, clean setting in every room. Had everything we needed at our fingertips. Close to shops, downtown restaurants. The grounds were beautiful to walk. Our hosts were the best you can have, Allison and Ron. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Home away feom home

This is a great place. Owners are wonderful people. Treat you like family. Our cottage was very cozy and welcoming. Has all the amenities. Allison and Ron pay great attention to detail and making sure you are comfortable and you are having a good time. We have stay in Summerville several times, Hearts of Arden will be our go to place from now on.

Fabulous Find

Stunning cottage on a gorgeous estate. Highly recommend this beautiful place. Allison was a wonderful host and extremely accommodating. All the amenities you could think of (and then some). Most comfortable bed ever. Plan to return soon.

Tuscany Cottage

Of all the VRBO properties I've rented, this was by far the most memorable and absolutely enchanting! I had an opportunity to personally interact with Allison and observed both she and Ron hard at work on the property and have an understanding of why everything is so lovely. It's lovely because they personally attend to the fine details. Their communication was almost instant and they kindness I was shown most unforgettable. When time came to depart, I had the sense I was leaving behind friends. Looking forward to carrying my 87 years young mother down for a visit. After staying here...subsequent and future locations may pale in comparison. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

A must stay! The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. We would absolutely stay here again. The cottage was equipped with everything you need plus some nice touches. The owners swinging by for a quick meet and great was pretty spectacular too!

Summerville i. the Spring

Our cottage was perfect . The owners were very responsive. They also came over to introduce themselves and make sure we had everything we needed . They do amazing things in a small space to make sure you are comfortable and having everything you couldpossibly need . We would stay here again and we would certainly recommend .

Breath of Spring

The cottage was very sweet and perfectly appointed. The gardens are lovely in a very quiet area of this special little town. Loved it. Hosts were not there but checked in several times.

Hearts of Arden:Tuscany Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tuscany cottage. The listing had sounded special but the reality outweighed all our expectations. It’s the best VRBO stay we have experienced. Allison and Ron greeted us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Later we actually sat by the gorgeous pool and chatted. They gave us great restaurant suggestions. (In fact, when we told the manager we were staying with them he gave us special attention.). Speaking with them made it clear they love the estate and love what they do. That is reflected in the cleanliness and detailed design features. The location is perfect. A short walk along a beautiful, tree-lined path brings you to the restaurants and shops. The cottage was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. My husband has a bad back and needs a good mattress, and this bed was perfect. We will absolutely be back!

Tuscany Cottage is perfect!

This was our third time to stay in the cottage. It is so clean and all of the Finnishes are first class. Ron and Allison are the best hosts! They are so attentive and friendly, just great people. I'm not sure when we will return to Summerville, but we will definitely always stay at Hearts of Arden.

Thanksgiving Stay

Our son and his wife stayed here, we live in the neighborhood, and they had a great experience. We were able to join in the Friday Happy Hour and learn some of the history of the property. Their room was terrific, had everything they needed, clean and well equipped. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Definitely will recommend in the future

Peaceful retreat near Charleston

We just stayed 6 nights at the cottage. It is immaculate and very well decorated. It had everything we needed. Then there’s the garden. It is amazing. It is all beautiful. The icing on the cake is how wonderful Ron and Allison are! They made us feel like old friends. We hope to return soon. Ron and Allison made it hard to leave!

Outstanding Surprise

This property was a beautiful representation of southern charm. The hosts were overly gracious, friendly and treated us like long time friends. We were very comfortable with the entire experience and will return. The hosts believe in attention to detail down to providing tooth brushes and snacks in the rooms. The hosts have a business plan that will further expand amenities and make the property even more enjoyable

Peaceful Haven

We really enjoyed our stay the Tuscany cottage. We were travelling out of state for a friend's wedding and stayed a little longer to do some site-seeing. After a long day of being out and about exploring Summerville and Charleston, it was so nice to come back to a quiet place to relax. Allison and Ron were very nice and I'm sorry we didn't get to to chat long with them. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends!
