This was our second time staying at The Grace Escape, and it was just as perfect as the first time. Great backyard space for our dog, plus a walk-friendly neighborhood when we needed to get some additional sniffs in. Plenty of space to watch a football game with friends. The kitchen comes with everything you need to prepare a feast. Eileen was lovely and quick to respond to our questions. This house really does feel like our "home away from home". We'll be staying there again!

The host was great, and the property is a cute little house in a nice neighborhood. The issue with our stay was there is a noticeable musty smell in this house, and from my prior experiences with older houses through the years, it seems like there might be mold/mildew issue. My mother, daughter and I were all coughing and sneezing by the time we left.

The house was great. Very well decorated and had all the amenities you’d need. Beds were comfortable. Communication with host was fantastic even though she was on vacation in Colorado! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Neighborhood!

Our stay was a great location in a very quiet, safe neighborhood. We felt safe walking at night. Close to a grocery store and restaurants and a great home base to see historical sites and points of interest. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Outstanding home in pleasant neighborhood

This was a perfect home for an extended family stay - very clean and spacious. the fenced in backyard was a huge plus with small children. The kitchen was well equipped, and having a second living/family room allowed us to keep kids toys in one and have a quieter area for adults. Eileen was very communicative and easy to reach with questions. We will be recommending her home to others!

Great Stay for Graduation and other UR events!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the University of Richmond Graduation Weekend! Our only regret is not finding this house 4 years ago to stay for parents weekends and other visits over the years! Communication with the homeowner was incredible and they were extremely flexible with allowing us an early check in! The neighborhood is adorable and so convenient to the surrounding Richmond restaurants/bars! You will NOT regret booking this VRBO and you will truly enjoy your stay!!

GREAT House!

We have rented properties from VRBO several times in the Richmond area and this was BY FAR our favorite! Great house with lots of space inside. Very comfortable - the house has a neat layout. Very easy communication with host. And very close to lots of stores & restaurants. We highly recommend this property!

Perfect for our family

The house is very spacious and the fenced in yard was exactly what we needed for our little kids and elderly dog. It was so nice having 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s a cute house and I recommend anyone thinking about it to book it. If we are ever in Richmond it will be our choice to stay there again.

Delightful Stay

Though the décor is a little dated, the house (which is 10 minutes away from everything my family needed) is spacious and cozy. The rooms were clean and well-kept. We were greeted one morning by wild bunnies and another morning by chipmunks! We had minimal complaints (a sticking door here, a missing closet doorknob there) but overall my family and I were quite happy with our stay.

A Piece of Home

I would stay again when I return home to Richmond. Spacious room. Loved that there were 2 bathrooms. Nice neighborhood close to shopping. Slept well. Truly enjoyed the property. Concerns: Animal hair on furniture (we vacuum) and TV reception in the 2 bedrooms was not good ( Even after battery change).

Very spacious property with a wonderful layout. Backyard was perfect for the dog. Simple kitchen with necessary items. Very safe neighborhood with wonderful walking and minutes walk or drive to anything you need.
