The house is amazing! So much style! We were very, very comfortable, and our host, Essence, was great! She responded quickly to all our needs and gave us some spot-on recommendation for places to eat.

Church Hill House

We were pleasantly surprised finding this house. It has a great layout and it is evident a lot of care was taken turning it into the gem it is. The host also gets five stars, she is very responsive and easy to reach, we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back!

Beautiful place and very clean! Essence was a fantastic host. No trouble parking on the street with plenty of space for our two cars. The fenced yard was nice and just enough space for our two small dogs. The location was great being so close to down town and generally seemed safe, but the area was somewhat sketchy. No issues at all and would definitely stay again.

Great roomy beautifully appointed house

This house turned out to be a great find for a graduation and family reunion weekend. The house was very roomy and beautifully decorated. We used the kitchen a lot and it was very functional with new appliances. We were short materials that Essence was quick to supply. Communication before during and after our stay was timely and helpful. Great place to stay.

Excellent atmospheric stay close to everything

We loved every part of our stay! Communication with Essence was easy and quick throughout the process and she was always so helpful and cheerful. The location was a very short drive to all of the local sights and we never felt like we were disconnected from the city. The house was so incredibly decorated and atmospheric, you can tell how much care went into it. The neighbors were so nice, and some of the local shops (particularly the oatmeal cream pie cookie place) were a big hit. We would happily recommend to anyone wanting to visit Richmond!
