Enjoy a scenic getaway to the White Mountains in the “Moose Lodge Cabin” - one of our two, hand built lodge style log cabins located in the heart of NH's White Mountains.

Set at Twin Mountain Campground in Twin Mountain - Your family can take a day trip to four major ski resorts in under a thirty minute drive- Attitash, Bretton Woods, Cannon and Loon. Choose from hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing or just walking near the cabin along the Ammonoosuc River.

Our cozy cabin can be your retreat!

Absolutely no parties allowed, loud music and alcohol is not permitted.

I can't say anything because my reservation was cancelled by Sheena , the host, and no communication and no refund of my pymt.Very bad, the site booked the wrong days and wrong quantity of adults , Sheena offered another cabin for the days needed, but in the end, she cancelled our reservation!

Cabin was adequate, but not properly cleaned. Floors were not vacuumed, dust and dead bugs on floors, food between couch cushions. Not the high standard of cleanliness usually present at VRBO sites.

At a campground

This is a cabin at the front of a campground. There was no river view and no ac. We had a nice stay but it is very barebones.

We just spent one night here but it was really enjoyable. If your are planning to cook bring any seasoning or spices you need. Other than that, this is a restful stop with a wonderful creek for white noise at night

Winter cabin stay.

Stay was great, cabin was cozy and convenient to get to. We had the whole campground to ourselves. Cabin slept our family of 6 comfortably Only complaint was that it was pretty cold and the monitor heater had a hard time keeping up. The tile floors were always freezing, bring slippers. Would stay here again.

Musty smell, located in a run down campground

Although clean, property is dated, living room furniture musty, sign of mice in kitchen cabinet drawers. Musty smell throughout. Expected this to be a stand-alone cabin but it was located in a run down campground setting. River behind cabin had campsites 50 feet away.

It is located in a very beautiful place next to a relaxing river and the fall foliage was magical. There were a few shortcomings with the property and I understand that “rustic “ was an euphemism for them. There is some dust indoors that triggered som allergy, wifi signal was weak and unreliable, but the worst part were the noisy and uncomfortable beds, they need replacing.

Worth it for a quick stay

Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. The beds are also not the most comfortable but as mentioned, it wasn’t too bad for just a short weekend trip. Great location and the river right behind the cabin is very beautiful.

Okay stay for 2 nights

The property and area was nice. It was a little bit warmer than we expected. For a family of 5 we could have used an a/c for the last night as there was only 1 small ceiling fan to cool the upstairs area. It wasn’t a bad place to stay for a few nights away. The pool was right across the cabin and there was a river right out back of the place. We walked around the campground since we had our dog with us. Everyone in the area was very nice and friendly. My one con was that there was a lot of dead flies found inside around the kitchen area.

Winter Ski Stay

We had a great stay in the cabin. Me and my friends rented for a weekend to ski at Bretton Woods, and the location is excellent (5 minutes)! Very close and easy to arrive at. The Cabin space is good, there is a big shared room for 6-8 people on the top floor. The temperature inside the cabin on ground level was ok since the tiles floor make it colder. But upstairs was very cozy and warm to sleep! The bathroom was clean, spacious and the water temperature is excellent! Mandatory to bring flip-flops/slippers or something to keep your feet warm during your stay in the living/kitchen area. Overall we loved our stay, Sheena was very receptive and available to address any questions or to help adjust things as needed! I recommend it and would come back!
