Relaxing visit

Great house, very spacious with an open layout. Nice porch. The location was the main reason for our pick. Fourth avenue was within walking distance as well as the trolley to explore the UofA and downtown giving us lots to do during our stay

Cute and rustic

This property was amazing and it was so cute and rustic. I loved the little details such as the deep tub and the amazing location close to down town.

1st Street house

We had a great time while staying there. The house , the beds, were comfortable. We were able to walk to most places-downtown, restaurants, cafes, university. Marcus responded right away and positively to a request we made.

Cute home in good location

The owner always responded quickly. Parking never an issue and the front porch was lovely in the evening. Close to university and downtown. Plenty of supplies in home. Neighborhood quiet with local residents. Enjoyed our stay here!

Charming house in a convenient location

We were close to the university and restaurants we wanted, and really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is so much better than what we remember from 20 years ago. Clean and quiet, with nice parks around. Comfortable beds in a clean house with wonderful details.

Charming, comfortable and convenient!

We loved this charming house. Very convenient location close to downtown and university. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at sunset. The beds are comfortable and kitchen nicely appointed. All the comforts of home in an historic old Tucson setting. Our host, Marcus, is 5-star - gracious and responsive. We look forward to staying here again.

Nice place, close to university

Nice clean home, very comfortable porch. 10 minute walk to university, 10 minutes to walk to the heart of 4th avenue. Property owner was extremely nice.

Nice updated classic

Cool place for small family. My wife, younger son, and I met our oldest son that goes to the U of A for Thanksgiving break. The place was perfect for our stay. The only reason the place gets four stars is that the couch in the living room is super uncomfortable, and not that it mattered too much to us, but there are number of homeless people that hang out in the park a block away that travel down the street looking in neighborhood garbage cans.

6 min drive from U of A

We stayed at this property for Freshmen moving day for our daughter attending U of A. It's a charming bungelow with plenty of space in a fenced property. The neighborhood can get a little sketchy in the evening due to the homeless people that hang near the gas station 1 block away at the adjacent alleyway and near the park during the day. Other than that I would stay there again as it really is a nice, charming place.

Great location and nice space

From this location, it was easy to access the University, Historic 4th Street, downtown, and other resources by foot or public transportation. The house has minimum amenities, ie cooking equipment, one TV, and shares outdoor space with two other units. Don't plan to cook a large meal here, plenty of really good local restaurants nearby.There were lots of homeless people nearby, but that seemed to be prolific throughout Tucson (my first time here, you get used to it). Neighborhood has lots of security so it was never an issue at the house, except for the security lights/sounds going on and off at night.

The Historic West University property is conveniently 6 minutes walking distance to the University of Arizona and about 10 mintues walking distance to nearby shopping on 4th Avenue, local family restaurants near and Downtown city center, and many outdoor activities to enjoy year round.

The property is centrally located with a lovely rear courtyard and a patio table and chairs to accommodate six persons. A gas BBQ for grilling and relaxing with family and friends. Located 5 minutes by car to The Tucson Convention Center and many local restaurants, breweries, and vendors to enjoy during your vacation.
