Nom de la propriété - Bayside Cottage

Une escapade romantique vous attend au bord de l'eau. Venez profiter de cette unique chambre 1 qui est parfaite pour les couples ou une petite famille. Le chalet est situé au bord du lac et vous devrez descendre les escaliers pour vous y rendre. Ce n'est pas trop mal, mais si vous avez du mal à gérer les escaliers, vous voudrez peut-être repenser cet emplacement. Une fois que vous y êtes, vous pouvez vous glisser dans votre confortable lit double pendant que les enfants dorment sur le canapé-lit dans le salon. La terrasse magnifiquement aménagée surplombe l'eau et est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de votre café du matin ou vous détendre le soir pendant que le soleil se couche. Pêchez sur le pont ou regardez les bobbers rebondir sur le canapé, puis enroulez-les! Vous apprécierez le barbecue qui se trouve à proximité et pouvez cuisiner ce repas là-bas. Si vous avez trop chaud, pataugez dans l'eau sur les marches en pierre qui vous mènent directement dans le lac.

Le nouveau porche projeté équipé d'un foyer au bois et d'un moniteur de 50 pieds fournira un endroit privé pour vous ou les enfants pour regarder ce match de football. Le porche a sa propre entrée séparée et n'est pas connecté à la porte du petit chalet principal, mais n'est qu'à deux pas. Profitez des haut-parleurs extérieurs pendant qu'ils jouent de votre iPod sur le lac pendant que vous dansez sous les étoiles. Lavez le lac dans la salle de douche japonaise avant de vous installer pour le dîner. Tout est là et un endroit romantique parfait directement sur l'eau.

Si vous décidez de partir, il y a toujours des sources thermales historiques avec les bains publics, les spas et la musique live à l'hôtel Arlington au centre-ville. Le casino est ouvert toute l'année et la saison des courses de chevaux commence en janvier. Il y a des rivières tout autour et les voyages de location de canoë sont toujours un favori de la famille. Des péniches de fête peuvent être louées sur le lac et il existe de nombreux restaurants flottants qui sont merveilleux.

Dear Guest, The key to the porch was located next to the main entrance door. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are located inside the porch to keep them dry. We have this outlined in the welcome email and if you had only contacted us, we could have explained this for you.

Great location

We really loved the screened patio. The deck is great also! They have everything you need in the cottage! We will definitely be back. And I have to mention Dave, the neighbor he was a tremendous help and very knowledgeable about the area! Thanks for having us!

Great get away.

Awesome little spot on the lake. We loved the screen porch and how quiet the area was. The next door neighbor was super friendly and gave us a few must do things. We went as they were raising the water levels so our dog had a small beach area to run and play and she absolutely loved it.

Great fishing spot

This property was great for 2 couples. The sofa bed was very comfortable. One of the bathrooms was a little strange with the toilet in the shower but we all used the shower in the main bathroom. It was cozy and on the water for good fishing.

Perfect fall getaway anniversary weekend

Although hot springs was the attraction our favorite parts of our trip was coming back to the lake cottage and sitting on the deck lakeside wrapped in a blanket enjoying the view and Waking up and and having coffee in the morning on the deck, doing devos and reading and watching the sunrise The accommodations were just as expected. Highly recommend. It was perfect for 2 people.

Wonderful

Lovely, cozy cabin on Lake Hamilton. I would recommend, however, only staying here as a couple, as the pullout sleeper sofa could double as a torture device. Overall though, a wonderful experience!

Perfect Couple Getaway!

We loved our stay here! Very cozy and beautiful views! The bathrooms were wonderful and the entire place was very clean! The neighbors next door were wonderful people as well, and we loved chatting with them! Hot springs was also a wonderful town with tons to do! The only reason I downgraded a star is because the bed sank in the middle a little so it was a little uncomfortable. We would still come back though because everything else was wonderful!

Lakeside cozy cottage

Bucolic, tranquil spot overlooking the lake but just a 20 minute drive to downtown Hot Springs. Loved sitting out on the ample sized deck for morning coffee and beautiful sunsets. Beautifully illuminated (at night) stairs lead down to the entry so not for anyone with mobility issues. Just what we were looking for. Owner, property manager (and even the neighbor!) were very available and helpful.

This place is awesime. But....was not completely aware that it is not handicap nice at all. Pretty steep stairs going down to it. But once down on the lake it was amazing. No extra blankets no linens on pull out bed. I just wanted a blanket to use in screened pourch area which was amazing.

Absolutely loved the view and the bed was wonderful. Was worried it would be too small but it was so comfortable, size wasn't an issue. Did not use screened in porch or deck due to cool rainy weather. Screened in porch was very dusty. All in all we had a nice stay, but feel the steps should have been included in the listing.

Couple get away stay

This was a nice property for a couple get away stay. It was just the 2 of us, which is perfect for this property. Deck off house was perfect for fishing, and the screened in patio was amazing! There are 50 stairs going down to the cottage, so if you have issues with stairs, would not recommend. It was a little bit of a challenge for unloading/loading due to this, but once down, the property is flat. There is a floating dock adjacent to the property, but if there are guests at the main house, the dock access is theirs, not the cottage. The cottage itself is a little older, but there are some very nice upgrades.

Cute getaway house

My husband and I enjoyed our time here. The driving instructions were very helpful to get to the house, but there are two other houses right next to the property so it would have been helpful to have clearer instructions on where to go after parking. For the most part, the house was clean, but the baking sheets provided at the house were almost unusable. They had a lot of grime on them and should be replaced, or you should bring your own if you plan to cook.

Beautiful spot!

My husband and I were so ready, after being cooped up for 3 months, to get out of town to a relaxing spot. This place did not disappoint. We had an issue upon arrival about available parking, but it was resolved quickly. While the description of the property did mention the stairs, I have to emphasize that the staircase down to the property is formidable, and if you have difficult maneuvering stairs, or might be suffering from COPD, this would not be the place for you! It’s a beautiful spot on the lake, and we enjoyed watching all the fun going on out there...party boats, skiing, etc. a family of Canada Geese came by every morning to visit! So quiet in the mornings and in the evenings...so relaxing!

Family of 11 Vacation

Enjoyable stay. Bedrooms are spacious beds are fairly comfortable. There a few minor issues, the gas to BBQ and outdoor fireplace is very weak, can’t get BBQ over 400 degrees. Kitchen sink and dishwasher has low water temp so the dishwasher does not clean the dishes well. We had a minor roof leak which the owner remedied that night. Overall the owners were easy to get ahold of and prompt to remedy issues. House is old with original windows and thin walls. We got the pool up to 85 degrees after a day and the hot tub heated up fast. Thank you to the owners for a nice stay.

Relaxing getaway

My husband & I spent 2 nights @ the lakeside cottage. I loved being right at the water’s edge. It is a nice quiet cove. Occasionally a boat would go past & the sound of the waves lapping against the stone sea wall was so relaxing. Except for sleeping, my husband & I stayed in the screened in TV room. It was even cool enough one night that we were able to have a fire in the fireplace. Although you feel far away from town when you are at the cottage, it is easy to go to town for supplies &/or to eat out. We like sleeping in a dark cold bedroom. There is a wall unit in the bedroom so we were easily able to control the temperature. The bed was so comfortable & there were black out curtains on the window. The only negative is that we should have stayed longer. We both agreed that we will come back again & we will stay @ least 3 nights next time.

If I Could Give the Place 0 Stars, I Would

The place would receive zero stars for cleanliness. The screened room was filthy, there were footprints on the floor covered with pollen, the furniture was unusable, It looked like the room had not been cleaned in months. I stayed at the property with two of my kids. When it was time to go to bed, there were no top sheet for the pull out couch. I reached out to the owner, she suggested that I slept under the blanket for one night, which I find unacceptable to sleep under a ‘community’ blanket without a sheet at a rental property, it is disgusting and unsanitary. The cleaning lady reached out to me, said that she would bring the linens that night, I was willing to wait. Several minutes later she texted me, and stated that she would not be able to come and bring the linens. She asked me to go to a storage unit located on the property near another house that was rented. Well, I am not going to walk around someone’s house at 10 PM. Speaking of the house next door, I talked to the renters, they had the same issue with the place being dirty. It belongs to the same owner. In short, I would NOT recommend the place.

Elena, I am so sorry again that the flat sheet was missing. We tried to do our best at 9:30pm at night. We had another full sheet set on the way to you at 9am the following morning but you had already left. Yes, we have struggled with our cleaning staff and have subsequently let that group go. We now have a smaller much more attentive staff handling the properties. During the pollen season, it is almost impossible to keep the green off the surfaces. It is especially difficult at the cottage. We really did try and do everything we could to try and make you happy. I hope you will give us another try in the future.

Needs attention!!

All of the things I have listed below I took pictures of. I can send them to you if you like. I’m not trying to be mean or disrespectful however so for your place has been our least desired place we have visited. The setup is nice but it really needs the things I mentioned to be fixed in my opinion. Some of the things can hurt someone seriously. 1. All wooden railing had some decayed rotten wood. 2. Nails were exposed causing possible hand puncture. 3. The railing for the stairs leading to the water was very loose. I almost fell when I grabbed it to go down the stairs 4. The rod for the curtain was bent and barely holding the curtain 5. The closet railing wood is split with exposed screws 6. Wicker furniture on the deck terribly needs replacing and too low to the ground on the deck. 7. The stairs leading down to the house the lights did not work. We had to use our lights from our phones to navigate those stairs at night. 8. The deck was full of spiderwebs and the foliage was dead. (The plants hanging from the deck over the water) The best space in the cottage was the bonus room and the bathroom in the main part. I could tell the tile in the main house is fairly new. It was nice.
