Two kayaks provided to visit lighthouse and picnic on surrounding islands. Stroll past the picturesque lobster boats to the town pier with restaurants serving locally caught lobster & drinks. Walk to your morning coffee and pastries, local grocery store, famous Nunan’s restaurant. Shop Kennebunkport 2 miles away, 9 minute drive to Goose Rocks Beach.

This house is a gem! Absolutely lovely home and location. There are thoughtful touches everywhere in the house. This host has truly thought of everything! The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated and the kitchen well appointed with quality kitchenware. The beds are comfortable. The patio, deck area and yard with fire pit are all perfect for hanging out in with family by the water. The views and sunsets are spectacular. The photos do not do this home justice. It is so much more impressive in person. Looking forward to the next stay!

Wonderful location

We loved this house with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, it was ideal for the 10 of us. We were there for a family vacation. Because the house is right on the bay, we rented kyacks and stand up paddle boards. Our family could go out any time they wanted to enjoy the water sports. The kitchen was well stocked which we liked since we cooked many of the nights. Often when you rent a VRBO place, the pans are awful and you don't want to use them, but the pans in this house were great. We loved the TV room where everyone could watch movies at night. We appreciated that all of the bedrooms have their own mini-split for the air-conditioning so everyone could make it the temperature they wanted to be comfortable. We highly recommend this house and would definately stay there again.

What an amazing stay in Cape Porpoise. This historic home is exactly as described, with lots of room for a larger group to spread out and explore different activities. But also amazingly relaxing. Honestly just a magical summer vacation in Maine, and this home was the best part. The host is also amazing. We will be back!

Perfection In Every Way!!!

Our stay at this beautiful home was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, we were mesmerized by its beauty, warmth, and meticulous attention to detail.The layout was absolutely perfect for our group, offering spacious and cozy areas to gather and relax. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, with plush, high-quality linens you don’t often find in vacation rentals. The bathrooms were large, stocked with thoughtful toiletries, and had plenty of storage, making them ideal for a group of our size.The dĂ©cor throughout the house was inviting and warm, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was a dream—both in size and layout—perfect for preparing meals together. The adjoining sitting area, lined with windows and featuring leather couches overlooking the water, quickly became our favorite spot. We could have spent the entire day there just soaking it all in!We were also greeted with a lovely welcome basket complete with wine, a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. The owner was incredibly helpful, responsive, and clearly takes pride in this home—and in a good cup of coffee, which was a bonus for our group!We truly can’t decide what we loved more—Christmas Prelude or this stunning house. If you’re looking for a perfectly appointed, comfortable, and memorable place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return!
