The house was fine everything was pretty much like they described so no complaints there kids like the beds and the bunk room and the queen size bed and the other room my two compliance one if you're going to stay here bring a mattress pad for the master the king size bed is like sleeping on a piece of plywood I woke up sore every day I can't wait to get back to my bed tonight two the pool wasn't open which is fine it's December but the list of rules this lady has for the pool telling you what kind of swimsuits you can wear and all kinds of stuff a little crazy

The home is nice but it was not clean and smelled stale. The windows had to be opened to allow fresh air in. The oven and fridge was not clean. Spider webs were even in the sink. The game room was dusty and all the furniture is dated and the bedding for the bunk beds as well. I notified the owner she brought one comforter to replace the one that had a stain and she said I usually get 5 stars ,I’m sorry. Also should not be listed as a 4 Bd if you have to pay extra for the tiny house which is the other room. Me and my family spent Thanksgiving together here and I felt so bad they had to come to a house like this.

Big House Great Backyard

My husband and drove down to meet our friends from college who flew in from NC for the weekend. We wanted a house with a pool in the Ft Worth area and this fit the bill. House was way too big for 4 people but that’s ok. We had plenty of space and loved the pool each evening. We played lots of darts (for us wives it was our first time). The neighborhood was very quiet and convenient. Kitchen and grill were great. Couch was comfy. Can’t complaint about anything. We were able to check in early w a nominal fee and we were thankful for that. Overall, 5 stars from us.

Family weekend and Rangers game.

We all enjoyed our stay at The Red Hen. The location was great. The game room had something for everyone. The pool was a hit, and the mature trees provided lots of shade. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Very Disappointing!!!!!

I truly wish I could attach the photo's that were taken at this property so that everyone could see exactly what I am speaking of. I additionally wish I could attach my conversation with the host, as there was absolutely zero rectifying the problem, not even the return of cleaning fees. this house was filthy and the explanation by the host was, "We are due for a spring cleaning". Well, when you have guests checking in, I would hope that you would be offering the best experience for them and have the home clean and ready for guests. The amount of dust, cobwebs, and dead bugs were in and on every corner of the home were endless. Light fixtures had dead bugs in them and it was very obvious that all had been there for an extended period of time... I would guess since the last "spring cleaning". Had we not had a group, it being TCU graduation weekend and very few options available, and already paid nearly 2,000 for this stay, we would have found another place to stay. Every time we came back to the home a few of us would become very congested and start coughing. It would cease again when we left. The last night of our stay everyone had gone home except me. My daughter came and stayed. Within a couple of hours of being there she started complaining of a sore throat. I decided to go and check the air filters and what we found was very alarming. I am out of characters and cannot finish my review. All was filthy. Feel free to message me for pictures.

Family wedding in Fort Worth

Red hen was 15 minutes from wedding and reception. The house was very clean and peaceful.Due to the early season there were some leaves around the patio, but this was a non issue for us. The master suite was awesome. This is an older home in a safe neighborhood close to anything you should need. The host was very responsive. We also had the tiny house and it was perfect for our extra guest

Older home with great potential to be fabulous

Nice neighborhood, older, established, the home is older, needs a bit more updating and has great potential to becoming a 5 star with a few tweaks. Nice size, great yard that just needs some TLC, outdoor furniture is in need of improvement. There are plenty of beds, fun gathering spot for family and friends. Furniture is lacking and not enough lighting, seating arrangement is awkward for a larger group. Updating would make it great!

Great property for family gatherings

The layout of the house accommodates family members keeping the group together . Big bonus is the little house in the back, excellent place for 2 extras in the bridal party . We will be back when the pool is open .
