Bamboo Terrace: Swimming Pool, Billiards, Darts

Literally close to every attraction, or stay in to swim, lay out, shoot some pool, throw darts, or enjoy the TV and wifi. With 2 masters (one w/ a king and one w/ a queen) plus a bunk room w/ 2 twin beds over 2 full beds, and 3 total bathrooms, an open concept, a garage game room, and a huge backyard with a pool, there is room for everyone.

Note: The pool is not heated. We have it open from the first weekend in March through sometime in October (depending on weather).

Absolutely no animals. Due to severe allergies for both the host family and the house keeper, we ask that you respect our space.

This property was located in a nuce neighborhood and close to the interstate. It was easy to find but was nicely tucked away in a clean and ni e area. We specifically were there for the Thanksgiving game at AT&T stadium. It was only about a 15-20 minute ride to the stadium with Uber, which made it perfect to stay away from the gameday craziness when it was time to relax again.

The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with plenty of nearby shopping. It was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be allowed an early check-in. We were in town for a Dallas Cowboys game, and the home’s close proximity to the stadium was perfect. Although it was a bit cool and we didn’t get to use the pool, it looked very clean and inviting. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Great location for us

This location was perfect and central for the events we had planned for a family gathering to celebrate a 90th birthday. We really enjoyed the pool and game room! It would have been great to have a coffee maker to make a full pot for our family of coffee drinkers, we purchased a French press instead of buying more K cups.

Tidiness and transparency

Overall everything was great. A few maintenance touchups need to be made to the house as well as better tidying. It just screamed “eh, good enough.” Also hidden rules and fees. Once you arrive, you’ll find several things listed on the amenities have an extra charge to use once you arrive. My only recommendations to make this place an A would be to be more upfront on the listing page before booking and give the house a little more tlc/cleanliness.

Our visit to Dallas/Ft Worth

All of the appliances worked well and there were plenty of dishes and silverware. The mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and the blankets were insufficient. It would be great to have a chair in each of the bedrooms. Unfortunately, we had rainy, cool weather and didn’t get to enjoy the pool and grounds.

Spending time to visit family in Texas

Dallas with the Family

We had a pleasant stay at this VRBO! The place was clean, although there was a bit of a smell when we first arrived. We opened the doors and windows, and it aired out fine. It was January, so we didn’t use the pool since it was covered, but it looked like a nice feature for warmer months. The place is definitely nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of things could be improved, like replacing some of the pans—they were a bit worn—and having more wash towels available. We had to wash them daily, which wasn’t a huge issue, but it would’ve been nice to have extras.The location is fantastic—close to all the things we wanted to do, which made getting around really easy. We also enjoyed using the fire pit at night, and even had a fun surprise when a family of opossums came to visit! Overall, this place is good if you’re looking for something laid-back and convenient.

Our family lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years before empty nests and retiring to Florida. We met here and had kids and grands kids over to celebrate Christmas. First time we gathered under one roof in years! Excellent time. Big kitchen. Big rooms. Plenty of space. Great time

Unexpected visitors

When we checked in we found a total of 6-7 dead cockroaches. I notified the owner immediately. She did try to have over control come the following day. They ended up arriving Friday ( we got there Wednesday) there was no communication as to when they were coming so this was also unexpected. He was very kind and acknowledged the awkwardness. I did ask for some sort of refund as I booked this property because all the reviews claimed how clean it was. I recieved $35 and also told we could leave to receive a full refund. We had to keep the lights on for the rest of the stay to try and avoid the cockroaches. 2 live ones were found throughout the stay. Pool was very clean as well as the other rooms. I understand bugs are a bit different in Texas but this just wasn’t something I expected.

Enjoyed the house

Enjoyed the stay. House was nice and clean. Pool was great. Only suggestion is to have bedside table(s) or a shelf above the bed in the bedroom with the queen bed in it. Be nice to have a place to put our phones and glasses. Otherwise, it was great! Thanks!

Great Stay

The home was close to everything! Never had to drive more than 15mts to get to anywhere. Great places to eat and entertainment was awesome. The only thing and this is not a reflection on the host, but a lot of the rides at six that my grandbaby could ride were closed and that was not listed on the six flags website until we arrived. Again not a reflection on host. Home is beautiful and the pool was amazing. Really quiet neighborhood. Would hightly recommend.

Lovely stay, close by to all attractions

Really good property, clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. Quiet neighbourhood but thats what we wanted. Close to local grocery stores and a short drive to the rail lines, fort worth or six flags. Really enjoyed the stay, pool especially so cooling down after yhe heat of yhe day.
