My husband and I spent our anniversary in this beautiful cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We would love to come back in the summer to really enjoy the lake! Truly a special place.
What an amazing place! From the minute we sat on the dock, we never wanted to leave. Beautiful lake, nice accommodations. What else could you need! Will definitely come back. Already miss waking up to the water.
We loved our stay on Lake Sutherland. The lake itself is breathtaking and thereâs so much activity to watch or take part in. We loved using the kayak available at the property. The cabin itself was super cozy and very clean. They really thought of everything weâd ever need including binoculars which I thought was a nice touch. A week was not enough!
Cozy Cabin is better than pictured. Peaceful, scenic, clean, well-stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, etc. It has a good design so that it feels way larger than its square footage. Thereâs plenty of room to store suitcases. And itâs a great launching off spot for exploring the Olympic National Parkâmany places are only 20-30 min drive away. We highly recommend a stay in this magical place!
Amazing! Bedroom, living area that is open to the kitchen and bathroom was all we needed. Cozy Cabin decor complimented a variety of life styles. Large windows allow a wonderful view of the lake. The dock, outdoor staircase (with night lights) and fire pit area are special. The Host is quick to respond to messages. Loved It!!
Great location for numerous day hikes. Beautiful view of lake each morning and everything you need. We like to cook and kitchen provided all the essentials. Would definitely visit again.
This was a beautiful cottage with great views of the mountains & lake. The hosts thought of everything n we so helpful with all aspects of our stay. LOcation close stay. LO
The cabin was very nice and cozy like their name with everything needed to cook multiple meals and unwind after hiking. A nice touch included coffee, tea and water. The views were amazing while facing the lake and mountains. The Host was great. The walkway to the cabin was a mini hike, but worth the effort for this perfectly relaxing waterfront cabin.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the beautiful lake views. The cabin is well-equipped with anything you may need during your stay, and itâs conveniently located approx. 20 minutes from Port Angeles.
Very nice cabin. Clean. Perfect for two people. Had had everything we needed...frig, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer. The outside gas grill needs some work. The burners were rusted out but got the job done.Be aware there is 70 flight of steeps to climb to get to your parking spot. If you have lots of luggage you'll have a work out!Highly recommended. We would stay there again given the opportunity.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cabin was lovely. The host has thought of every detail. The scenery is breathtaking. It was the perfect home base for our elopement in Olympic. Highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights while touring the ONP. This little gem of a find was perfect for us. Clean, quiet and comfortable with really cute decor. We enjoyed sitting on the boat deck sipping coffee and watching the birds.
I have lived my entire life on the North Olympic Peninsula. I am very fortunate to live here and it is a beautiful place to visit. I have three adult children who still love to spend time and enjoy the waters of Lake Sutherland. I work and live in Port Angeles, but try to spend some weekends escaping life's demands by relaxing at the lake. I have a sign at the cabin that reads, 'If you are lucky enough to live on the water, you are lucky enough'. That says it all!
Lake Sutherland is a prime piece of property on the North Olympic Peninsula. This cabin was bought in 2003 and fully remodeled in 2004 - 2005. There is a public boat launch on the south shore side of the lake. This location is 10 minutes away from the Olympic National Park, 40 minutes from Forks, WA., home of Twilight books and movies and a ferry ride to British Columbia, Canada.
