Very nice place right across from the beach

The condo is very nice, fully set up with chairs and umbrella to take ti the beach and is right in the middle of it All. The Owner was a delight to deal with. We would certainly stay here again..

2024 family reunion

We have stayed at the Maui Vista many years. This is the nicest unit we have stayed in. We rented 4 units this year through Vrbo this year. Have had very good results.

Kihei - great location and well equipped condo

This was a great condo to stay at for our 1st visit to Maui. The condo had everything we needed: beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, washer/dryer with detergent and dryer sheets, full-size fridge, dishwasher, stove, strong WiFi, big lanai for sitting and eating outside, comfortable bed. A beautiful beach is just steps right across the road! We definitely recommend.

great condo in great spot

Really liked ground floor and lanai. quiet area with a nice patch of grass for grandsons to run and roll on. king sized bed and air-conditioning in bedroom really appreciated. Location for pickleball and going to beach perfect. Able to walk to shave ice and basic groceries.

Very well stocked with essentials in kitchen. Enough towels including beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers. Beach just across street and 1 block down. No beach view from unit. 3 pools but rather small. Restaurants within walking distance. Would stay there agin.

hot and manageable

The place was nice, but air in bedroom only hummed and didnt put out cool air. Though quite hot, we simply slept with bedroom window open. We found the palce to have evrything that we needed.

Location is great, complex has great amenities, unit leaves a little to be desired.

Excellent ground floor location and good access to beaches (across the street.) Unit has had some updating, kitchen and tile work. A deep cleaning is due, living room furniture needs a shampoo and bed pillows need replacing. Plumbing (bathtub) problem was promptly repaired.

It was fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed your condo very much. In fact we wanted to come back for 2017, but when we tried to reserve again before leaving, found it had been booked for t.he time we required. We were quite disappointed! We found that maybe the kitchen could have used a few extra plates so we did not have to use the dishwasher so often. Doug and Verna Miller

Lovely

Comfortable convenient stay. Condo is well equipped - property is in a great location. Close to beach and other amenities. Pools are smaller but my kids still had a blast at them. Tennis courts are in great condition and we used them daily. BBQ’s are right out back door - very convenient. Enjoyed the ground floor and grassy area for my kids to play on. Path to parking lot is right close by so there is a bit of noise coming from that but it didn’t bother us too much. Consider bringing extra toiletries or picking some up on your way - the host leaves a starter package depending on how many people are staying. We needed to top up eventually. Slept well - the full AC made it very comfortable at night. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Kim for everything!

Liked the location: easy walk to the beach, to restaurants, and to the island's pleasures.The condo was adequate. Clean and no bugs. The air conditioning unit, however, was so loud that sitting on the lanai was not pleasant. The lanai looks out onto the parking lot. For cooking, the condiments were the most stingy, minimal offerings we have experienced: salt, pepper, cinnamon and curry. Buying a whole bottle of olive oil or a whole bottle of mustard was irritating for the small, but needed, amount we used.

Aloha Leonard! We are happy that you enjoyed the location and cleanliness of our home. We like that part too! As for the air conditioning, window units are very common and can have a hum. One suggestion for future visits is to turn it off while you are relaxing on the lanai, then turn it back on when you come inside. This will not only cut down on sound, but also conserve energy. Yes, the lanai faces a grassy, tree lined area and beyond that is the parking lot. We don’t typically include spices, other than salt and pepper as an amenity because they expire too quickly and we have guests from many countries and it would be difficult to anticipate everyone’s tastes. However, we can reseach places and make suggestions of where our guests can buy small amounts of spices and condiments so that they don’t go to waste. Thanks for bringing these items to our attention. We take extra effort to make improvements and offer suggestions to our guests so you have a great experience and enjoy our home as much as we do. Beautiful place

The place was beautiful. I do have a couple of suggestions. The bed is too firm for some. Having a foam pad on it would really help people with a bad back. The shower head is way to low. I'm 5'8" and had a hard time leaning low enough to rinse my hair. The washing machine needs work. I could only get it to spin out on the gentle cycle, if I used any other cycle it would turn off after filling up the washer. Otherwise everything was wonderful and I would recommend this place to friends. It was conveniently located across the street from the beach and it really helped having use of the coolers and beach chairs. All of the furniture and decor was top notch. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Aloha Dianne, Thanks for the suggestions. We are going in July to do some maintenance and take your suggestions to heart. We will replace the shower head and add the kind with the flexible hose so it can be used by those tall and short. I'll see if we can get a memory foam topper to keep in the closet to make the bed less firm and I think it's time to replace the washer and dryer. Mahalo, Kimberly

Cute Kehei condo

Hubby and I came here for a quick birthday trip. Condo was quiet and cozy, easy to find. Had a hiccup unlocking the door, but thankfully property manager was quick to reply. Guide book was very thorough, we were able to find and access everything easily. We used the beach cooler and chairs almost daily. Note to owner-Would be great if reusable ice blocks were in freezer! Place was pretty tidy- and we washed and reused items as needed. Our Only issue was proximity of bedroom window to the complex dumpster- the clanking of items being sorted, recycled and thrown in the metal recepticals RIGHT in front of the window was disturbing early in the morning. Location of condo is awesome, we were able to walk back and forth to the store and local restaurants and beaches super easily. Kihei is a cute little town, very friendly and mellow :) kitchen upgrade is beautiful, great job!

Please let me know if the noise from the dumpster was before 8AM. It is supposed to be locked during quiet hours, which are from 10PM to 8AM. Great Maui condo

This condo is in a great location. Beaches are walking distance, grounds are very pretty, easy access to so many things. The appearance of condo is very nice. Exactly like what is pictured. It was clean and furniture was comfortable as well as bed being comfortable too. Kitchen newly done and is really nice. It has everything you will need for your vacation in paradise. Owner answered all our questions. Perfect for the two of us!

Location! Location! Location!

Great location to stay while in Maui. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Welcoming, family friendly complex. Owner and property management promptly responded to any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that wants a home away from home while visiting Maui.

Home away from home!

We enjoyed our stay so very much. Had a few glitches, but they were taken care of and accommodations made quickly. We will absolutely work our vacations around the availability of Kim’s place. Oh! The beach is literally less then 400 steps away!

Wonderful Condo Close to Everything

My Boyfriend and I had a fabulous time staying in this charming, clean, modern, comfortable, well-appointed condo. The kitchen had every comfort we could need for the week there (especially salt/pepper and a blender!), and we made sure to leave some olive oil for the next guest (I saw that prior reviewer was). The location is fantastic, walking distance to Foodland (for Poke!) and SO MANY parks - surfing in the Cove, snorkeling in Kam 2-3 and Wilaea (thanks for the tip in the binder about Po'olenalena, that was by far some of the best snorkeling we did!), playing volleyball in Kalama (we left a volleyball for future guests!). The condo was super clean and tastefully decorated, with plenty of good lighting. We initially weren't sure we'd like that it was on the ground floor but ultimately we really appreciated how quickly we could be in-and-out, and the lanai was a great place to sip morning coffee and watch the Minas squak and hop about! We didn't really have to use the A/C all that much because of the wonderful afternoon Trade Winds, but the bedroom A/C worked fantastically well when it got hot some nights. The washer/dryer were brand new and really came in handy. Altogether not a single bad thing to say about our stay - we'll definitely try to book this place again when (not if) we return to Maui... We are a family who loves to be near the ocean. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, we grew to enjoy being near the ocean. And if you've ever visited, you know it's pretty to look at but very cold to the touch!

That's why we like traveling to places like Mexico, the Caribbean, Florida and Hawaii. Maui is our favorite Hawaiian island. To us, it a cross between Kauai and Oahu. You can find the quiet and beauty like Kauai or the activities like Oahu.

We love traveling and fell in love with Maui the first time we visited in 2002. We dreamed about owning, but never thought it was possible until we tried. We bought in 2003 and are fortunate to share our vacation home with fellow travel-lovers! It's a win-win situation because our guests save and we share what we love!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have the condo decorated in traditional Hawaiian style with Hawaiian prints and rattan furniture. The condo is comfortable and fully furnished including a Cal King bed in the bedroom. The resort has small, but nice pools, championship tennis courts, gas BBQ grills and an activity desk to plan island excursions at discounted prices.

A couple of our favorite things to do is snorkel the beaches of south Maui, take drives to Hana, relax on the lanai, and take morning walks to Kihei Cafe, our favorite place for breakfast.

We hope you enjoy staying at our condo as much as we do! We have many repeat visitors.
