If you are looking for a perfect getaway in paradise, Kauhale Makai 608 is it! The first thing you see when you arrive is a panoramic view of the ocean from this TOP Floor condo. Just sit back and take in the endless Pacific Ocean, turtles, dolphins, whales, wind surfers, kite surfers and other ocean activities right from your lanai. Miles and miles of sandy beach for walking and beach combing directly in front of your condo. The condo offers stunning ocean views from both the living room and bedroom, as well as the large balcony.

The condo can comfortably sleep 4 people, with a queen bed in the bedroom, and a pullout queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This makes the unit a convenient option for families or small groups. Inside the space, you'll find a bright and clean space that is perfect for relaxation. The large lanai provides a spacious area to enjoy the ocean and island views.

Enjoy amenities of this lovely condo such as Central AC. Kauhale Makai is one of the few resorts with high quality central air conditioning. While staying with us you will be able to enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, combination range/oven, large microwave, full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Cabinets are stocked with a full range of dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, rice/steamer, and dinnerware. The condo also comes fully equipped with beach gear, including beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a cooler. You'll have everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach without any hassle.

Kauhale Makai (Hawaiian for Village by the Sea) is meticulously maintained, featuring a lush tropical landscaping. You'll be surrounded by natural beauty and a serene environment. The recreational facilities on property include an adult and children’s pool, shuffle board, putting green, well-maintained outdoor BBQ grills, coin-operated laundry facilities, & an elevator. The central location offers convenient access to all Maui attractions, shopping, supermarkets and transportation.

We provide adequate starter amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. for all bookings.

WHAT A VIEW!

Stayed with my family in this gorgeous condo. We loved everything about it!! The views are phenomenal!! We found the condo to be very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. The space was super clean and we were very comfortable as a family of 4. AC worked well. We loved the pool area and we walked right out to the beach every morning. Would definitely stay again!

Nice but noisy

This is a very nice unit with a great view. Check in was smooth and unit was clean and comfortable ... Our only compliant is the air conditioner on the roof above the unit is quite noisy and makes it hard to sleep, earplugs are recommended.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have absolutely no complaints about this rental! The view was perfect, it was probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in, and the location was central to everything. I usually wouldn’t stay in a rental twice because I like different experiences, but will absolutely look for this one again for our next trip to Maui!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great room condition and staff are friendly and helpful. BUT, this particular room is directly under the building air conditioner so at night the whole bedroom vibrates with a pulsing droning sound. Couldn’t sleep in the bedroom but the pullout sofa was fine and the sound was less there.

Unit was as described. The view is great! The unit had mostly what we needed. It's a nice unit and was clean. A few minor things to note: 1) Another review mentioned noise from the A/C unit on the roof above. A response said it had been addressed, but it still is loud. I'm not a light sleeper, but I was awakened a few times before I started using ear plugs. Bring ear plugs and you'll probably be fine. 2) I know the listing said pantry was not stocked but a few more basic things would have been nice. There was just salt, pepper and a bit of olive oil. 3) the pool felt unheated, so was a bit cold. 4) The mattress on the bed might be too soft for some. One of us was happier to sleep on the sofa bed. I preferred the mattress. 4) There was a sink hole between the building and the beach, which meant you had to walk around to a neighboring property to access the beach. I know some of this is outside the control of property management, but just stuff to be aware of. All in all, we had a lovely stay!

Reviewer Comments: RoomWas very nice , only problem was the chiller for all the ac units was directly above us and it had a consistent motor hum and vibration which made it difficult to sleep. Contacted VIP and Carrol was wonderful at relocating us to another VIP property! We have stayed at this unit a few times and loved it and will go back again, just not in Unit 608.
