Historic Old West End Devilbiss Mansion, with three floors of luxury to enjoy.
Historically significant space with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect. Located in a historic community within minutes of Downtown. Our guests have found the property to be stunning. We are new to VRBO. But we have over 400 online reviews with an average rating of 4.8. We decided to include the third floor Penthouse/ballroom. This enables our guests to enjoy the entire mansion. The Mansion is 10,500 square feet. The Third Floor is a 3,000 square foot Ballroom/Penthouse, which is included. There are seven bathrooms and seven bedrooms. There are two additional sleeping areas. One on the on the third floor and the other on the first floor. Enclosed fenced parking. Additional street parking. The World Class Toledo Museum of Art is a brisk 15-minute walk away. See more on Bookmymansion1.com
This is our third time renting house. There was a little confusion on when we arrived but that was resolved quickly. We enjoy the house every time we use it. The Wi-Fi didn't seem to work but we worked around it. We will be back next year.
Communication with the host was brief but helpful. Property was large enough to sleep all of us very comfortably, and the space upstairs was awesome for games and hanging out. There are a lot of fragile items on the property so this is more suited for adults instead of small children unless kept under constant observation. Not all of the outlets worked, but with the age of the house thatâs to be expected. The architecture and historic details were amazing.
This place was great for our reunion of college friends and their families. There were lots of places for adults to gather and kids to play and toddlers to nap. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well! Check-in and communication were easy.
We gathered to celebrate a PhD and an engagement! We had 18 friends and family from 8 states (not all stayed at the house). It was the perfect place to host; plenty of space to gather and visit and be happy!
The house itself is absolutely charming! We loved the many bedrooms, the large third floor for gathering, and the two kitchens. We had 20 people, and the only time it ever felt crowded was when everyone gathered in the kitchen to serve dinner. For those reasons, I want to give it 5 stars, but we had struggles with wifi access, responsiveness to time sensitive questions, and some things in the house didn't work as needed.
The house is beautiful. Perfect for our needs. Concerned that all exits but one were non-functioning. Had trouble with the alarm system. Police came twice during our stay. Host gave us the alarm code after we contacted them about the problem but the alarm was still going off with the police. Many light bulbs need replaced. Just a small issue. Had a great weekend.
12 of us ladies had a wonderful time - so much room for all of us to spread out and space to all be together. So many details that were fun to find during our stay. Everything we needed was there!
What a great place for a family reunion! Beautiful back yard, lots of space to spread out, but great gathering places as well. Loved all the stained glass!
The pictures were very nice but seeing and being inside the place was amazing.
My moms 70th birthday was one to remember thanks to the amazing place. I will be recommending this location to many of my professional friends and family! Absolutely amazing!
Very nice property with enough space for all of us. We were in town for a bowling tournament. The house had all the necessities which made making meals a breeze.
This property is stunning! We had plenty of room for our group of 8. The property was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to go in Toledo. The West End is an up and coming neighborhood, with many properties in revitalization. I would recommend staying here if you have a larger group.
We had a wonderful weekend reunion at the Devilbiss Mansion! Our group of 14 was comfortable and able to spread out with all the extra bedrooms. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Thanks, Vince!
