Escape to La Casona, a hidden hacienda where historic charm meets modern luxury. Tucked behind a serene stone-paved courtyard, this one-of-a-kind retreat is rich with personality and detail. From antique doors and warm wood finishes to colorful tilework and Spanish-inspired architecture, every inch of this home celebrates its vibrant heritage.

Inside, the open-concept living space is anchored by an arched, Spanish-style fireplace that sets a cozy, inviting mood. A pool table and TV offer entertainment for guests of all ages, while a large dining table invites lively meals and conversation. The fully equipped kitchen is a showstopper in its own right, featuring upgraded appliances, double ovens, a central island, and a second dining area.

With five thoughtfully designed bedrooms, there’s plenty of room for families or groups. The expansive primary suite includes a king bed, queen bed, and full trundle, making it ideal for families with children. Bedroom 2 features a king bed, while bedrooms 3 and 4 each offer a comfortable queen. Bedroom five includes a queen bed with a full trundle, giving everyone space to unwind in comfort and privacy.

Enjoy views of Camelback Mountain directly from your backyard oasis. Have yourself a fiesta under the expansive outdoor patio, where a covered dining area, grill, and lounge seating await. Spend your days soaking up the sun on the poolside loungers before cooling off with a dip into the pool. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. Overall great. Good location, spacious, great backyard. Pool table a plus. Only 3 bathrooms is a challenge for 14 guests and one BR is only accessible through another BR. Kitchen needs updating.

Wonderful stay

The property was very clean and communication with the host was excellent. The backyard makes the house outstanding. We and our dogs spent hours hanging out in the yard with plenty of comfortable seating. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return.

Wedding host house.

La Casona served us well during a week - with family staying here and hosting guest for grilling and feasting a big group. Other than needing to by a new set of carving knives (as the others were dull) the place is very comfortable and expansive. Surprisingly quiet for being on a main blvd. We’d go back should we visit Scottsdale/Phoenix again.

Nice clean house Greta location

House was very nice. Would have liked option to heat the pool as it was too chilly to use. Checkin process was easy. A few more TV’s would have been nice as well. Location was excellent. Thanks

perfect for us

Great location. Although it was right on the very busy Camelback Road. We didn't hear the road noise much though. The kitchen was nicely equipped with quality appliances. It is a fantastic place to entertain. The floorplan flowed well. The Avantstay staff was helpful and responsive. We would most definitely stay there again. Once peice of advice: A little more attention to the foliage outside would go a long way. Also, the rug in the main living room area needs to be replaced.

Nice weekend!

The house was absolutely adorable with so much character. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to lounge around. The pool was perfect! One of the back rooms with two beds were super hot and despite the air condition being cranked up those rooms would just not cool down so it was uncomfortable to sleep. Second one of the bedrooms had an automatic light that would turn on at random times without any switch connected to it to shut it off so that woke up the person in there randomly.
