Home away from home getaway!!

Cabin was just as we expected, just like pictures! We took firewood and enjoyed the sound of babbling brook while enjoying coziness of fire/fire pit! It was tucked away enough to feel secluded, but yet was so close to town! We will be returning!

Sweet little getaway cabin

This was the perfect little cabin for my husband and me to get away for the weekend, though not too small that we couldn’t have brought our kids along. The back porch is a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. There are other cabins nearby but this was a nice private spot.

Perfect Property

There were a couple of issues getting the lock to work and with the internet initially, but they were addressed quickly. The property was PERFECT with the creek, fire pit, and fireplace and located near Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We would definitely go back!

The cabin is exactly as pictured and described. It’s small but perfect for our family of 4 (2adults,2kids). It was clean and had all the basic essentials. Location is great, near so many nice places to visit. Be aware: the driveway is steep, slippery, and uneven. We scraped the bottom of our car not realizing there was a drop, actually 2 drops. And after it rained we had a hard time getting out. The WiFi is not the best and cell service was not always available. When arriving we had trouble with the door lock, not being able to enter, and we had to call the management company to get us in.

Thanksgiving get away!

The cabin is beautifully located near a creek which gives a pleasant ambience day and night! Cleaned and well suited for a week-long stay or even longer! The cabin was warmed in the cold nights and comfortable all throughout our stay. The advertisement picture of the front needs to be updated as some time has passed since the picture was taken and you miss out on the beautiful plants and plowers that are now in front of the cabin.

It’s was perfect for a couple

I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I would change is a little more room on the storage for clothes. Not really any closet space, but it was a small cabin. We can make it work. After all you are in Ellijay in fall time. And getting out of the drive way was a little tricky, but all in all I would stay again.

Cozy Cabin by the creek

Just as advertised..... it was just as beautiful as the pictures on the VRBO app. It was quiet and well placed away from the hustle and bustle. Sitting on the back porch and listening to the creek was very relaxing. The amenities were good for our stay, unfortunately we were not able to make phone calls. A landline would have been nice since we had zero cell service and communicating using the wifi was spotty at best.

Great View. Decent Cabin.

The views of Turkey Creek and access to the creek are undeniable and beautiful! The cabin was cozy and clean. However, this rental property would greatly benefit from updating the stay in the following ways: full set of cooking and grilling tools, full set of mixing bowls, updated refrigerator with ice maker, updated drainage so that you don’t hear the sink and tub drains at nighttime, new dryer unit that does squeak the entire hour each load is drying, updated TV services and wifi for people who work and stay remote, and additional outdoor seating on porch or at-least 1 additional rocking chair. I think these additions would make a 4-5 day stay much more enjoyable for sure.

Best mountain cabin Ever ! 10 Stars

Kudos to owner and property Management! The quaint cabin was decorated with high end , up scale accessories for the “cabin -in-the-woods” feel! Unbelievably clean and well kept. It made me think my mom was on staff. The beautiful scenic view was Abundant driving from Elijay to Blue Ridge and all round. Daily we walked Turkey Creek just steps from the back deck. I’m making arrangements to book another mountain trip with you all. Thank you for the best customer service ever!!

Very DIRTY!!!

The property was very dirty! Lamps, fans full of dust and a cockroach in the tub. Property is very difficult to find and the property manager does not care to answer any of the communications via VRBO.

Very Dirty

The cabin has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it was very dirty. I will be contacting VRBO because I took photos. Lamps and almost everything super dusty, cockroach, floor very dirty. Forget about using the BBQ!!! Cabin is situated in a very difficult to find location. Was very uncomfortable due to lack of cleanliness. I do have photos but to able to attach.

Cute and Quiet

Property was clean and quiet. I did not love the dirt/gravel roads getting there but I understand that tends to come with the territory of mountain cabins. The interior lighting was weird in that though there were lots of lamps, it was still pretty dim inside. A warning on the nearby cows would be nice - I heard them before I saw them and was concerned since the trash can was mentioned as bear proof. Mattress was good - sheets could be nicer. Internet was a bit of a struggle - part of my reason for staying was time for research but the internet wasn't great, usable, but often annoyingly slow. I was there alone but if my husband had been with me a second rocking chair would be good for the back porch. Love the sound of the creek and watching the birds.

Cozy and comfortable

This little cabin is perfect for a couples getaway! We were very impressed at the easy check in process and the property manager is super sweet and helpful! We asked in and it felt untouched; it was very clean and has all items needed to start off your getaway! I love that there is a full size over/under washing machine and bathroom. The cabin had a welcoming vibe and definitely felt like you are in the mountains! Just 30 feel or so is a beautiful and tranquil creek that flows perfectly into a larger river down way. My husband and so enjoyed walking the creek bed skipping rocks and searching through rock beds. There is also a cozy fire pit on the property for romantic bonfires with your babe. The kitchen was fully equipped with most cookware needed and also plenty equipped with trash bags, soap and towels for easy clean up. The check out process was seamless, as well as the check in process. The only regrets we have is that we wish we could have stayed longer and don’t have to say goodbye so soon! Quick Tips: -Watch our for dark windy roads if coming in at night! -Grocery stores are about 15 minutes away. As well as a variety of eatery options -There are super cool parks about 30 minutes away - Dont pass on the Apple orchard experience!

Quaint but.....

Upon arrival it was a little difficult to find. Not very clearly marked. Recommend a all wheel drive. Internet and calls are on the challenging side for older folks. Interior was really nice, but the light switches were confusing and bulbs were out. The exterior of the cabin was covered in webs. In fact I swept away alot of them to appeal to the additional guests. I have lived in mountain cabins and know the circumstances. Could use a few more variety of glasses. Over all a great little cabin.

There are spider webs everywhere an German roaches inside .no where to put trash due to containers .

Mountain Hideaway

Cute cabin on a wonderful creek. Perfect for a family with kids! Our only issue was the very poor lighting inside the cabin. Perfect for napping and TV but not so good for reading and puzzles. We really enjoyed the porch overlooking the creek.
