Our love for Big Bear began more than 20 years ago when we started bringing our family here to enjoy everything this beautiful mountain community has to offer. After years of making memories while staying in vacation rentals, we dreamed of one day owning a mountain retreat of our own—a place where family and friends could gather, relax, and create lasting memories.

Today, that dream has become a reality, and we're honored to share it with you. Whether you're visiting for adventure, relaxation, or a little of both, we hope Cozy Bear Chalet feels like your home away from home and becomes a place where you create wonderful memories of your own.

With comfortable bedrooms, open gathering spaces, and room for everyone to spread out, Cozy Bear Chalet is ideal for families, couples traveling together, and small groups. After a day of exploring Big Bear, come home to a cozy living room, mountain views, and all the comforts of home.

The fun doesn’t stop when you get back to the cabin. Enjoy friendly competition in the game room with a pool table, foosball, board games, and giant games, or relax in the private hot tub beneath the stars. Gather around the fire pit, grill dinner on the BBQ, or settle in for movie night on one of five Smart TVs.

Our fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. You’ll find cookware, serving dishes, a slow cooker, rice cooker, blender, coffee maker, and a dedicated coffee bar—perfect for fueling your next mountain adventure.

Enjoy fresh mountain air from the spacious deck, relax in the fenced yard that’s great for kids and pets, and keep an eye out for Big Bear’s famous wild burros that occasionally wander through the neighborhood. It’s the perfect place to unwind after hiking, skiing, boating, or exploring the Village.

We’ve stocked Cozy Bear Chalet with the amenities guests appreciate most, including high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, central heating, a washer and dryer, pet-friendly accommodations, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Our goal is simple: provide a clean, comfortable, well-equipped cabin where families can truly relax.
