Locating the villa was not easy. Multiple communications from VRBO & Prestige gave us the street address of the villa and 1 communication from Prestige also listed a Google Maps link. I use Apple Maps, so I used the street address that was in the same communication.They need to make it very clear that the street address will not get you there and provide both Google Maps & Apple Maps links, stating that the only the links should be used.Dishwasher was brokenThe dishwasher being broken would have been manageable if this had been communicated to us.Instead we were putting our dirty dishes in it, not knowing that it wouldn't work.We tried running it a few times, assuming that we had missed something. poor communication again as my wife was told that it would be added to the work order for the bugs.When I followed up, I was told that it had been broken for 3 weeks, pending parts from the mainland.Microwave was broken. Again, the issue is not just that it was broken, it's the lack of communication so that when we need it, we're not surprised.Black bugs swarming food on the counterThere was an infestation of tiny little black bugs in the kitchen, probably coming from the broken dishwasher that swarmed any food put on the counter. It took us multiple days to get it under control.Dropping of ant & roach killer is not an acceptable response. Your team should have either dealt with the infestation. The living room smelled bad, from the broken dishwasher.
