Fully furnished home just outside Cookeville city limits in a safe and established neighborhood. Local amenities within a 5 to 10 minute drive with lakefront hiking, fishing, kayaking, and a trail that leads to a waterfall only a short walk away. Basement include pool table, gas fireplace, 50” TV (bring your firestick), bar with seating . popcorn maker, and a massage chair. Kitchen is well stocked with ample small appliances and there are many options for food delivery and transportation available. This is a safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a great place to ride a bike or go for a walk. It is very peaceful to sit outside, listen to the birds, and watch the deer who visit nightly. Note: For guests safety, there is a flood light camera at the garage entrance.

The house was absolutely amazing and everything we could have asked for was available. This is truly a home away from home. The house is spacious, clean and the host was very kind to have snacks available after a long drive. Perfect for a family get away. Thank you for a great stay! We would definitely stay here again.

Joanne and her group were absolutely stellar guests! Their communication was prompt from start to finish, making the entire stay wonderfully stress-free. They treated the space with care and respect, following all check-out instructions perfectly and leaving the house in pristine condition. I had zero complaints—they are truly the ideal Airbnb guests. We have rented properties for years, and this property pleasantly surprised us with how very clean and well stocked it was for us. The beds were comfy, and the rec room in the basement gave us some overflow space for our group. Loved the massage chair!! :DLaurie was a wonderful host, answering any and all questions throughout the week. I would highly recommend this property.

I was happy to host Jenny and her guests for their nine-day stay. They were exceptional guests who treated the property with the utmost care and respect. Not only did they leave the house absolutely spotless – it looked as if no one had even been there – but she was also wonderfully communicative and completely honest about the number of guests staying. TN Tech Visit

This property is exactly as described. In town to clear out my son’s dorm for the summer. The garage was clean with plenty of room for a car and his dorm stuff. Our dog enjoyed the back yard and surrounding area as well. House is clean and comfortable. We had a great stay.

Awesome place!

This place was absolutely great. The host created a welcoming situation at every step of the process: from the initial friendly communication to a welcome basket awaiting us on the dining room table, we felt like we were valued guests in our own home. The pool table downstairs was a nice add, but the place was clean and comfy, and beds were great, and everything about the house was, well, awesome.

Beautiful clean home

Beautiful neighborhood very clean home not one bug. A lot of mirrors for getting ready.. in my case for my son's wedding. Communication with the property manager was perfect very helpful and made the process extremely easy for me being the first time Vrbo user. I highly recommend this home. One mention for the downstairs game room/living room a lot of fun!

Amazing Stay

This was the perfect place for our stay for our family. The house was immaculate and in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well equipped and we had the entire house to ourselves. We especially enjoyed the use of the pool table and massage chair. We would definitely recommend this property even above other places which are priced higher. Definately a great value for the price.

From booking to arrival, it was a wonderful experience. Our host went above and beyond to make us all feel welcomed. The home and neighborhood was just as described, being very convenient to everyone we needed to see and everything we needed to do. We hope to return soon.

Very nice!!

My only complaint is that we didn’t get to spend enough time at the house. We had Family Weekend at Tenn Tech. Next time we will allow for exploring and spending time in the game room. Five deer were in the backyard Sat morning. It was awesome!!

Came to visit with family

We loved staying here the house was perfect it had everything we needed, even a fence yard for our Fur-Babies plus it was close to A lot of recreational things to do. As well as a fire pit so you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view Every morning I would go outside with my cup of coffee and listen to the birds chirp and see a deer eating. In the yard next door. It truly was refreshing and relaxing. We Would love to stay here again when we visit next time.

Clean, well stocked home in nice neighborhood

We had a great time at the house. It's very close to lots of good restaurants (37 Cedar was our favorite) and waterfalls (Burgess falls was amazing). She was very quick to answer any questions we had. It was nice to have a fenced in yard for the dogs and watching the deer every evening and morning was a nice treat. The neighbors were very friendly. Everyone liked the massage chair. 2 beds are firm and 1 is soft. The only thing I can complain about is water preasure in master shower was weak I had to wash hair in tub in other bathroom. (I have thick hair) But overall I would definitely stay there again if I was visiting that area and would recommend this place.

Perfect house for Lane's Bend Wedding

Wow. We have stayed at VRBO's for several years with many wonderful experiences. I must say that in working with Miss Laurie, she is the champion hostess of them all. She is so quick about getting back to you with any questions. If you have any extra needs she is immediately on top of meeting them or telling you how be accommodated. We hosted a wedding at Lane's Bend and this was the perfect home base. Two minutes away from the venue. We cooked 200 cupcakes and prepared a host of wedding flowers and this house accommodated us beautifully. The front and back porches were a nice respite when we had the time. The two car garage was a plus with the garage door openers to drive in and out without any problem. If you want a functional, clean home in a nice neighborhood in a good location to Cookeville, Cookeville amenities, and Lane's Bend, then this is the perfect house. We are so very grateful to you Miss Laurie for sharing your home with us and taking good care of us. May you be blessed for your help and generosity.

Hi, I’m Laurie!
I was born in Pennsylvania but have lived most of my life in Tennessee. I have one adult daughter.
After spending the last 2 1/2 years working as a travel therapist in Hawaii, I’m leaving my 25-year career in healthcare and going back to school full-time to begin a new career in construction! I love volunteering with Habitat For Humanity and at a local therapeutic riding stable.
I am fun, easy-going, and love meeting new people. My favorite things to do are listening to music, hiking, biking, and anything outdoors. Oh, and I love watching anything on HGTV!
I have lived in my house for 21 years and have just recently opened it up to guests until I finish school. I’m hoping others will love and enjoy my home as much as I have!
