This delightful retreat features 2 cozy bedrooms: a serene queen bed in the master and two full beds in the loft, perfect for families or friends. Stay cool or cozy with AC/heat, and enjoy the convenience of a washer/dryer, WiFi, and Full Kitchen.

Relax and Unwind: The bathroom offers a refreshing rain shower, ideal after a day of exploring.

Prime Location: Nestled near TTU, Salt Box Inn, and Downtown Cookeville, you’re just minutes away from Cummins Falls and other stunning natural attractions like Burgess Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Rock Island, Caney Fork, Dale Hollow, and Center Hill.

Outdoor Bliss: Savor your mornings on the wrap-around covered porch, complete with a luxurious outdoor tub (hot/cold faucet) and cozy porch swings. Gather around the fire pit for memorable evenings under the stars.

Explore the Wilderness: Behind the property, you’ll find 4 wooded acres rich with history and natural beauty. Guests are welcome to explore this area, which features a running spring, a cave, and abundant wildlife. Please note that this area has a history with American Indians, and artifacts have been found here. Due to the natural terrain and wildlife, exploration is at your own risk, and children should not explore on their own.

Safety First: For your peace of mind, our property is equipped with 24/7 Ring doorbells/cameras at the front and back doors.

Family-Friendly: Children are welcome but must be supervised. Board games are available for family fun.

We really enjoyed a relaxing stay ina beautiful little cottage in a wonderful location. The cottage was clean and cozy, and the outdoor bathtub was a unique and wonderful feature. I would highly recommend staying here!

The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the privacy yet being so close to town. Excellent communication with owner, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come visit again!

25th Anniversary Getaway

After a great work conference in Nashville, we were looking for a few days to relax and have some alone time. We love scenic views and a little hiking, so the proximity to all the waterfalls was great for us. We loved being secluded and yet, still close enough to town to take advantage of the great local restaurants and ice cream shops. The last three nights, we got carry out and ate at the picnic table outside. There were beautiful sunsets and we even saw a deer while we ate. The cabin was perfect for us. We would definitely consider going back again. All the pictures were from state parks within 45 minutes of the cabin.

Gorgeous home away from home!

This cottage was perfect for our stay. Clean, relaxing, quiet, and very well maintained cottage. The kitchen was fully stocked and the details that was put into this cottage just made a perfect place to stay. We plan on revisiting again soon!

Stay Here!

This cottage is absolutely impeccable. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. It’s loaded with everything you may need including soap, shampoo, lotion, extra toothbrushes, coffee and towels. It’s super clean! They even had chocolates, crackers, and marshmallows to make s’mores! Owner is very available and responsive. I love this place. If you’re staying in Cookeville, stay here! Trust me on this. Super Cute Cottage

This little cottage was perfect for what we needed. Everything was well stocked. We spent relaxing nights by the fire and the kids loved exploring the property. The owner was easy to contact and very responsive to our needs. We would gladly stay here again in the future.

I fell in love with Cookeville many years ago during my college years, and it has held a special place in my heart ever since. This charming town is a hidden gem, brimming with natural beauty and delightful spots that make it truly unique.

One of my all-time favorite places is Cummins Falls. Imagine hiking through lush trails, the sound of cascading water growing louder as you approach. The breathtaking views and the exhilarating experience of swimming in the cool, refreshing waters beneath the falls are simply unforgettable. It’s a perfect escape into nature’s embrace.

And then there’s Mama Rosa’s, a cozy eatery that serves the best stromboli you’ll ever taste. The warm, inviting atmosphere and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked dough and melted cheese make every visit a treat. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Mama Rosa’s is a must-visit for a taste of Cookeville’s culinary charm.

I wholeheartedly recommend both of these places. They capture the essence of what makes Cookeville so special and are sure to leave you with cherished memories.
